“O-obviously,” Amane says, her face red, and Canary can’t help but stifle a giggle at her typically serious, earnest expression, “you’re the best athlete I know, why wouldn’t I team up with you?”

good shit: canary and amane eventually leaving their job as zoldyck butlers as a result of...being on a different side of a family conflict, shall we say and once shit settles down, they lie low in a city by the ocean, in a small apartment they can afford by a combination of the last of their butler pay and money earned by working together at a nice little cafe maybe at some point they go back to a career that sees more action, like. one or both of them taking the hunter exam and breezing their way through it, but first they just...unwind for a while. re-learn what life is like outside of the zoldyck mansion. experience domesticity, on their own terms. actually get a chance to work out their feelings, since that was always forbidden under the no romance rule i'm just really a sucker for domestic amanary what can i say
