Talking about a #femaleartist who has been with me for decades, I first saw #samphillips when she was performing as #lesliephillips at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa in #1982 or thereabouts. It seemed to me at the time like she was being introduced. All I could see was a huge puff of blonde hair hovering above an acoustic #guitar that looked bigger than the person playing it. She deserves recognition as being at the forefront of the female singer songwriter movement that gained recognition in the #90s, being #indie and #alternative in the #80s, before there was indie or alternative. She is still releasing #music - look her up online and subscribe to her website and then buy her #cds.
