[PART 1/2] BEST. DAY. OF. MY LIFE. #lesmissg #lesmiserables #lesmisforlife #doyouhearthepeoplesing #cries I am so upset that Les Mis is officially over 😭😭😭 it was literally the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love love LOVE it so much!!! I've watched the Singapore run of the show THREE times, and the last time flew by so fast!!! Like one minute everyone was happy and so excited and they were all so ready to fight, and the next everyone was getting SHOT. *cries* Circle 2 seats have a MUCH better view than Circle 3. First of all, you actually get to see the backgrounds and they really are beautiful, and they do contribute to the setting of the scene, especially in Javert's Suicide. Because of the background showed the sewers getting closer and closer as Javert fell off the bridge. And you can see and hear a lot more detail. Like, during the Wedding scene, when Thénardier sings, "This one's a queer, but what can you do?", I noticed that one tall guy near him stopped dancing with his partner abruptly, looked positively insulted and hit Thénardier, and he did all of this extremely flamboyantly. And when Thénardier sang, "And here's me breaking bread, with the upper crust!", the wedding guests turned their heads in time with the music. Like I never would have noticed that in Circle 3! And as for the hearing, when Éponine went to get Marius after "Do You Hear the People Sing?", you can hear Éponine say very clearly, "Well, Marius? C'mon!" And I don't know if this was just me, but I think Enjolras said Marius' name a lot during Act 2. Speaking of Marius, he acted really, really, over-the-top excited and in love when he was exclaiming about Cosette to the Les Amis in "Red and Black". Like he was running around the entire stage, and he tossed that piece of paper so far! As the show was their second-last performance, I think it was the matinee for some of the cast, and I noticed some changes! The first one was after "The Runaway Cart", when Javert was talking to Valjean. Valjean sang, "Can you be sure, that you have got your man?", instead of "Can you be sure, that I am not your man?"
