Drew some scenes from @sm-baby ‘s Freakshow fic! Theres were so fun to make and helped me to practice with text interpretation ^^✨ These are obviously fan made so they might not be 100% acurrate to the original text.

Atsumu and Sakusa in Lesser Evil are kind of terrifying to me. I don’t remember any fic where the reader was subjected to this much violence. Atsumu smashing her head against the wall just to knock her out??? I keep wondering if that was really necessary. Why didn’t Sakusa bring chloroform...? And Sakusa slapping the reader hard across the face while she still wasn’t fully conscious. Do they often use violence against her like that before?

bones have been broken, bear traps utilised, scars inflicted, physical abuse and punishment endured. some of it's threatened (and i would say 85% of the time, those threats would be followed through on), other times it's mentioned only briefly, or alluded to/implied. a few of those have happened on page in explicit detail. it might not always appear in the fic in black and white detail, but every last one of the characters i write for not only have the potential for physical abuse towards the reader, but i'd argue a propensity for it under the right (or wrong) circumstances.

as for why they didn't use chloroform, sakusa was in prison too. chloroform was not freely available. also any kind of drugging has the potential to be equally as dangerous as knocking someone out physically – there is no guaranteed 100% 'safe' way to render someone unconscious outside of a controlled, medical environment.*

however i operate with fanfic logic which dictates that all methods have equal value and present no lasting harm unless i say they do.

poor bby probably got a concussion but i'm sure she's fine. and, truly, considering she sold them down the river and most people in that position would be in pieces sinking to the bottom of that river, it could've been a lot worse.

#which is not to say all characters are created equal in that #there are some that are definitely more dangerous and terrifying #usually those characters within the organised crime/yakuza/gang au's (or any canon-verse tokrev characters)#both in general and their threat level towards the reader #*and yes even then #rhi answers #fic asks #lesser evil

Knowing tim walz is the choice puts me at a strange ease. It doesn't feel like we're running "The lesser evil" choice this time and there's something nice about that.

I actually want to vote for them this time instead of doing so begrudgingly just to keep the republicans out.
