It's like "this guy went on to become an inspiring teacher!", "this guy got a phd!", "this guy testified at the nuremberg trials!" and then "these guys presumably dropped a whole bunch of bombs on innocent civilians during America's imperialist interventions in East and Southeast Asia haha it's cool don't think about it"

#the thing is if you've been watching too many ww2 things it's good to receive a bracing reminder that the US and UK are very evil #lest we forget!
