I'm sorry, but one critique of TVL that will never be legitimate to me is the old "Rockstar Lestat doesn't look gay enough!"

I understand if you feel like gay themes are less-explored, but please be realistic, not all gay people have the same aesthetic, look at Judas Priest in the 80s.

I wonder if sometimes people forget that this is a Lestat blog what with the way I reblog so many Lestat takedowns, because honestly, sometimes I forget it's a Lestat blog 😂

Some of it has to do with adapting a ridiculously long book series by a poorly skilled author and writing an entirely different story on top of the garbage foundation.
