Six Sentence Sunday

Well, Holiday Monday after Sunday but close enough...

Thanks to @starsandstitches for tagging me. Since the rules allow for it, I decided to go for six from a previous work rather than a WIP this time...

One of my favourite (and few) gen fics where I decided to be nice to Greg for a change (rather than putting him trough the wringer!) - I Should Be So Lucky ...

Hardeep was staring at him open-mouthed - which made Greg realise his own jaw had also dropped open. He closed it and asked, "H-how..." He stopped and gulped to try to get some moisture into his suddenly dry mouth before continuing, "How much was the jackpot on Saturday?"

"Twelve million pounds," Hardeep replied with slow reverence.

Greg looked down at the ticket again then back up at Hardeep. "I've won twelve million pounds?"
