Whole Cast of Pinter Five.
Rupert Graves, Jane Horrocks, Colin Mcfarlane, Emma Naomi, Luke Thallon and Nicholas Woodeson, with director Patrick Marber
Swimming With Men is now on Netflix UK (not sure about the availability in other countries)
Short video of Rupert winning an award at the Christmas party of his football team last year.
And also a picture of the whole team at this year‘s Christmas party. What a team!

Me and a friend went to see Rupert Graves at the Pinter at the Pinter season yesterday. We watched The Room / Victoria Station and Family Voices and as Pinter plays go they were all funny, sad, dark and confusing. But that’s why I love his plays.
Oh and look at my happy little face when we met Rupert at the Stage Door and even had the chance to have a quick chat about the ending of The Room :D
Bumped into Rupert Graves while I was waiting for the bus. I’m absolutely shit at taking selfies, have a bad hair day and am absolutely knackered from a 6am start at work today but thought I still share this with you guys because this absolutely made my day.
Didn’t had any time to watch the movie last week so I thought I’ll watch it tonight… well it seems that no Cineworld (where I do have the unlimited card and could watch the movie for free) in London is showing it anymore. Gutted. Did they seriously just screened the movie for one week? And now only in 3 cinemas across the UK?! I am really disappointed in this. Other cinemas here in London are not that much better with screening time, tho.
SWM opened the week after British cinemas’ worst box-office week of the entire year (due to the double-whammy of very hot weather + the World Cup). So the fact that it’s being rolled out outside London is actually pretty impressive!
A film getting booked for one week only is not unusual in London/UK cinemas – it’s more like the norm. Sometimes the one-week booking gets extended, sometimes it doesn’t. Typically, if the film has an audience it moves or gets rolled out to different cinemas (and chains) in Week 2+ of its release – and that’s what’s happening with Swimming With Men. In fact, next week it reaches Picturehouse cinemas (same ownership as Cineworld), Vue, and more (showtimes below).
If you saw SWM on a Cineworld pass, I’m not sure how that feeds into its box-office performance. Presumably it gets counted, but obviously if people are keen to support the film, paying for tickets elsewhere does no harm…
Yeah I might be spoiled as I was kinda used to having more than 1 week to see a movie :D And I maybe didn’t phrased it clearly in my original post. The 3 cinemas I mentioned where only in regards of Cineworld cinemas. I did not research in what cinemas the film is shown in the rest of the UK. I did check the alternatives in London, though. The thing with the other showtimes in London is that even though I really do wanna support the film I am a bit hesitant to pay another ~ £15 for another chain on top of the monthly £20 I pay anyway for my Unlimited Card. That’s why I was so disappointed that isn’t shown in any Cineworld in London anymore. I thought about watching the movie at the Phoenix Cinema as this is my local go to independent cinema but sadly I can‘t make the two screening there as I’m working on Saturday and already have things planned that can‘t be moved on Sunday :( Might be able to go to an afternoon screening on Monday as I have that day off or maybe even one of the late night screenings depending on how long it will take me to get home afterwards. Maybe it’s coming back to a Cineworld in London, maybe not. Maybe I’ll watch it in the cinema, maybe not. But I know for sure that I’ll buy the DVD (or hopefully Blu-Ray) and will screencap the hell out of it :D

Please be aware that these are James Ivory’s photos, and treat them with respect accordingly. I’m not going to repost the photos, and I won’t reblog them from anyone who does.
Well this will most certainly brighten up my morning commute ❤️
May I recommend the suburban-platforms passage at Euston, too ;D
Oooh. Haven’t changed at Euston for quite a while. But Highgate, the station where I always get off to walk home, has one now as well <3 The one I originally posted was at Tuffnell Park. Saw it when we stopped there it in the morning so I got off on my way back to take a picture :D

German Trailer for Swimming with Men with a few more scenes with Rupert in it. I’m so looking forward to finally see that movie in the cinema.
