When you say that Lestrade isn't shy can't you say he might be afraid of rejection between the two of you?

We are both talking about the same Lestrade here, right? I'm fairly certain he's not afraid we're going to reject him. We go out for a pint quite often. Of course, Sherlock doesn't always come with us, but sometimes, it's goo to take just a bit of a break away from him.
