In the gameplay demo and the trailer the Inquisitor is referred to as the Herald of Andraste a few different times. We're also shown the Inquisitor, presumably in the fade before they get the mark, reaching out to a humanoid figure made of flame. What do you think the chances are this is Andraste?
we see the inquisitor being called herald/herald of andraste by both allies [ex. cullen] and enemies [ex. hand of korth, the avvar leader]. when the inquisitor reaches out to touch the being of light in what looks like the fade, I think this is near the start of the game. the blast has happened and the inquisitor was drawn into the fade. I think that when they touch the spirit/being their hand gets their fade-brand and they get given the power to close the rifts. i've seen a lot of people speculate that the being is andraste but i don't subscribe to that idea myself. I think it's something else.

The animation they use for Hawke seems pulled straight from DAII and the animation in that scene for NotOurWarden looks like it was pulled from a Warden animation from Origins. If I can find where it’s from I’ll try and send links to back up this idea but I swear I’ve seen that wobbly stop before a big baddie before. Even if it seems true, it still may be only a small shred of hope but it’s a shred still.
interesting, if you find them shoot them my way please. :) my pet (using pet here to mean favorite, not "one i think is most likely") theory is that the warden with hawke is the orlesian warden because the worldstate the trailer draws on has dead hero of ferelden. there were these teasing tweets from patrick weekes that he gave in response to being asked about this theory, make of them what you will. one two
Anonymous said: In the new extended demo when they were showing off inventory and giving the Inquisitor the new ax, I thought I saw a weapon called "Bianca" there. Wonder if she's unequipped able now (but still exclusive to Varric)? Poor Varric, might not even have Bianca around to help him through it all
there was indeed a weapon called Bianca in the inventory. "Weapons are restricted by class, just as before. Companions can equip any weapon that belongs to their class with the notable exception that Varric will ONLY use Bianca and not another bow. He can go dual daggers, but once you go Bianca, no other bow will do." there you go

DA:I is the first vid, it has the rest of the video on there, though it does buffer and puase quite a bit due to technical difficulties everyone was having. But if you can deal with that then you have the rest of your vid :)http://youtu.be/_5_nnV9Yqh8
hey, thanks for bringing this up. i'm actually aware of this video and yeah, it's missing the first part of the DA presentation and the end especially suffers from the buffer/pause/streaming issues that the livestream was having at the time of broadcast. i've been directing people here instead, it's got the full thing and is without the issues. here is an alternative. i do appreciate your time and effort tho! c:

I saw some people claiming they read certain Huge Story Events that I got absolutely /no/ hint of in my 70 page preview. I've been wondering if those claims are perhaps fake and someone is simply stirring drama. If you've read the preview I'd love to hear what was in yours. (sorry this is vague but i want to avoid spoiling you jic)
i read that different pages were available to different people too. there's [a] thread[s] on the bsn about it. i've seen some of the people claiming those things (I think I know what you're talking about, but thank you for trying not to spoil me just in case, that's thoughtful!) and i'm not sure how much water their claims hold. I read a part of the preview up until when I realized that "most of" the book didn't mean all of it up to a set point but all of it with random pages missing in places. once I realized that I stopped reading the preview because i didnt want to keep going while missing chunks of story. so needless to say i didnt get very far because the first gap for me was early on! sorry about that.
