thinking about what if riku had been with sora in the kh3 xion fight. like. the thing is. i don't think it'd change the fact that she'd lunge at sora. i think it'd only add to it. because what's the most damage you can do to the boy who told you that you had to make the decision that was best for everyone, not just yourself? the boy who, inexplicably, you felt was grappling with a decision not so dissimilar from your own? who now stands before you, when you thought he was going to sacrifice his everything for his best friend, the two of them together? obviously, you'd kill sora. because then maybe he'd understand the pain of looking one of your best friends in the eyes, only for him to not remember who you are. maybe then he'd understand the pain of being brought back, against your will, into a world where nobody loves you, and the ones who did are either gone or don't even know your name. or maybe he wouldn't, but you'd hurt him in a way he could never come back from. just like how you feel he hurt you. an eye for an eye. a ghost for a ghost.
