you do know that ff is supposed to be around love right cause whatever it is that your doing with your healing project thingy def isnt that
read your intro and it says its personal things but like ok then keep it to yourself i guess
just go back to the the love topic stories and tbh its not getting a lot of notes and attention anyways so why bother lol
finally found the strength to reply to this! 🫂
hi anon 👋 first of all, i wasn't sure what kind of tone i should respond this with. but, i would like to thank you for sending this in. you gave me the push to finally post my 'especially to you...' series that has been on my masterlist for so long.
next, you're not wrong. compared to my other stories, this series is not getting as many notes. i am not scared to admit that it did discourage me a little bit but it all changed when i re-read my stories (yes, i'm one of those authors who re-reads their works many times, over and over again).
yes, ofc i could keep all the burden and weight of my personal life to myself. we have a choice to do that or share it with the people around us. for me, i chose the latter. why?
because i believe that feeling like you're alone, especially when you're too scared to speak up, is one of the darkest, loneliest, hardest and most excruciating moments that a person can ever have. i hope that my stories could accompany those who may feel alone and bring some sort of comfort.
i choose to be open. i choose to speak up first after the other person is ready to listen to me (for my stories, this comes in the form of warnings). i choose to tell the experiences that i've gone through. after that, it's up to the other person if they want to spread it around, keep it to themselves and/or maybe even judge me.
it was my choice to open up. the ball is in your court after and the information that i've told them will be up to them and their conscience.
i'm open with talking about life experiences and most especially, mental health. as a person who has multiple diagnosis and waiting to be assessed for more as well as waiting for re-asssessments, to a certain extent, through my stories, i want to tell it out to the world.
comfort, sadness, pain, discovery—those are the words that i would describe my journey so far.
so yes, while it isn't getting as much attention, the way i smile, cry and feel my chest lighten after reading my published stories, makes me keep going.
also, in terms of your definition for fanfiction, i guess our definition of the word differs greatly and i can respect that. but for me, my stories will not only be about romance.
because that's not the kind of author that i want to be. also, i will not be influenced by others to be the author that they want me to be.
i write for others to read but most of all, i write for myself.
i refuse to publish stories that i'm unsatisfied with even if people tell me that they love it. i refuse to publish stories that i will not re-read. i refuse to have no personal connection to the stories i publish.
so that's my answer! sorry that it's long 😅 and sorry that i kept you waiting as well 😭 i hope this answers your thoughts and asks!
Life is busy - I honestly don’t know how I’m handling everything I have on (it doesn’t feel like that much tbh) - but I’m very fortunate that I enjoy everything I do and everything I’m doing is helping me grow and learn new skills. Keeping a positive and upbeat attitude has been so important for me. I have had a couple of crashes but I’m proud of myself for my perseverence and continued positive attitude!
Some more notes in regards to that Fantasy Daddy AU, because who doesn’t like a fun FFXV x Dream Daddy AU? This time, some notes on the ‘Argentum‘ boy and the Scientia girls! Feel free to read below!
Avery Cid Highwind/Argentum -- Only Child, Age 14
Technically the son of Aranea Highwind and her wife, Cindy Aurum, but Prompto’s DNA was used to make Cindy pregnant.
Aranea could only squint as she realized how much her boy reminded her of the blond shortcake.
Met his dad for the first time when he was five, and ever since, Prompto’s been Avery’s ‘father figure’ for those man-to-man situations.
Wants to be just like Prompto, even learning how to do photography under his wing.
Eventually takes on his dad’s last name, in which Prompto ugly sobs and hugs his little boy.
Socially awkward and rarely can keep himself together as it is.
Avery, what are you doing?! ‘My best,’ he replies with a tone sounding like he’s gonna cry.
Best friends with Silas Lucis Caelum, with the two often being confused as brothers.
Accidentally agreed to dating the Fleuret boy, in which Prompto screams in horror because ‘HIS PRECIOUS BOY...!’
Justina Scientia -- Older Sister, Age 20
Adopted by Ignis about five years ago, and happily with her new father ever since.
Spunky and smart, she makes Ignis proud with how intelligent and cunning she is.
Attending university for a degree in culinary arts and health sciences.
Likes eating more than she does anything else in the world.
Except for family, that is. She adores her family to the point where she’d suffocate you with said food if you trash-talk them.
If she’s not studying or committing to other obligations, she’s hanging out with her sister. She adores her sister.
Insecure whenever you bring up the reason why she’s adopted.
But she wouldn’t change it for the world.
Childhood friends turned sweethearts with Orion Lucis Caelum, whom she tries to often make have fun because of how work-oriented he always is.
Cornelia Scientia -- Younger Sister, Age 17
Also adopted into the family by Ignis five years ago, but has a harder time adjusting than her older sister.
A transgender girl, whom was first disowned when she had told her biological parents how she felt about herself.
She harbors insecurities about her transitioning, even if Ignis is fully supportive of her, making her seem rather sad and tense so often.
Has a bad habit of chewing her nails when she’s nervous.
Spoiled to heck by Ignis and Justina, showered with clothes, makeup, and accessories with them helping her come up with a unique style.
Eventually is inspired by them to pursue fashion, wanting to create a line of clothing that’ll make anyone feel beautiful.
Likes brightly colored striped stockings, so is usually seeing wearing them -- even under her jeans.
Doesn’t say much or smile often. But when she smiles, she really does light up the room. Or so people say.
Has a crush and a profound respect in fellow artist, Vincent Ghiranze, but she gets too nervous to show him any of her sketches or designs. She admires from afar instead.
