Aiden just happened to pick the right moment, catching Albedo as he dozed off. Head resting against the desk, he only began to stir after feeling something against his cheek.

Rowan didn’t bother tiptoeing around the subject. It was unclear how he found out about Aiden’s struggles. Maybe Aqua or Ventus asked him to help, but the look on his face showed he wasn’t entirely thrilled about being there.

Hearing Aiden’s voice, Ven let out a soft whine, but kept his head in his hands. “M’fine.” He mumbled without looking up.

Blankets, baskets, pillows, snacks, and drinks were set out on the blanket. Aqua patted the pillow near by, eyes scanning the book, instead of looking up at the blond. There was a slight tilt of her head as she flipped the next page.
She finally slipped a piece of paper between the pages and set the book aside. A warm smile coming to her lips. “How is your magic, coming along?” Soft gaze fixed on Aiden as she shifted on the little seat she made for herself, legs pulling up and curling underneath her. It had been a while since they practiced, and so she was definitely keen on finding out hoe much he had picked up in the mean time.

The previous night had been stressful, not least of all for the poor young man the turtles had brought to the shelter. She couldn’t fathom what had gone down out there... the only thing she really knew was that this human looking boy was a mutant, just not... outwardly.
Well, that didn’t mean they wouldn’t help him. He was here too, and the last thing they needed was to fight among themselves. They had to stick together- until things got sorted, they were all they had.
