Honestly? Evanescence. Way before it was an internet meme and overused in bad AMVs (or maybe while it was being used in bad AMVs?), tiny 13-year-old me dealt with things by listening to Evanescence, and then later also Green Day. Even tiny me had shit to deal with. :/
