I wanted this Marshall to scream Lethis. A tired old experienced General who is preceded by his loyal Gargoylian.

I have begun work on my Cities of Sigmar army by painting a model from the game Warmachine (Hammerfall Siege Engine) to use as a Steam Tank. I wanted to practice the colour scheme a little with this one before starting on the rest of the army proper.

I guess I’ll be collecting a small Cities of Sigmar army now… I read this little bit in the latest White Dwarf magazine about the city guard of Lethis, located in the realm of Shyish. I really like the dark colour scheme and heraldry, so I’m thinking of adding a small force to ally with my Anvils of the Heldenhammer Stormcasts, also based in the realm of Shyish.

Review: Lethis Path of Progress

De la Desarrolladora francesa Triskell Interactive y saliendo a la venta en Steam el 25 de Junio del 2015, Lethis Path of Progress es un juego de construccion de ciudades y gestion de recursos, muy parecido a la saga Caesar y Pharaon, con un diseño steampunk victoriano muy bonito a la vista. La compañia Triskell nos lleva a un mundo alternativo del cual somos el arquitecto del emperador de Lethis, un reino imaginario que nos da a pensar en centro Europa. La campaña del juego se compone de 26 missiones, en las cuales veremos pasar diferentes emperadores con sus rasgos de caracter que afectaran en cada ciudad que construyamos. Tambien cuenta con un modo sandbox con 11 escenarios distintos, donde podemos construir como queramos sin ningun tipo de limite. El juego tiene 3 niveles distintos de dificultad.

Voy a hacer varios apartados para que os hagais una idea de como es el juego, punto por punto:

Apartado Grafico:

El apartado grafico del juego es muy bueno, siendo simple, han logrado hacer algo muy vivo y resulton. Evidentemente no es un Cities Skylines, tampoco es lo que la desarrolladora busca, es un juego que entra por los ojos. A mi punto de vista es excelente.

Banda Sonora:

La banda sonora de Lethis: Path of Progress es sublime, musica alegre, que no molesta, te acompaña en el gameplay, muy buen trabajo.

Controles:

Son controles simples, el raton y basta, tipico en juegos del genero. hay que decir que el raton tiene un pequeño lag que se puede arreglar abriendo el juego en ventana, este es el unico punto negativo.

Interfaz:

La interfaz del juego es un poco complicada al principio, debes abituarte a los iconos de cada apartado, pero es cosa de una media hora, maximo una hora y ya estaras listo para jugar sin problemas.

En resumidas cuentas, es un juego que aconsejo a los fans de city builder y de los juegos de gestion.

Lethis: Path of Progress is an old-school city builder set in a Victorian Steampunk universe called Lethis.

The game will be arriving later this year for the handheld Nintendo Switch – and a sequel, Path of Progress II, is promised soon for the PC.
