2. Favorite Disney movie? Zootopia was super good so I’m gonna say that. Or Ratatouille, I watched that again recently

Surprise! (Twelve Days of Christmas Day Three)//A Bo Burnham Imagine

Hey @letitbo, remember that time I said I was going to write that thing? Well here it is for Twelve Days of Christmas.

Day Three: Bo Burnham

You’d never been so anxious in your whole life. Sitting on that hospital bed, the fluorescent lights above you were suddenly way too bright.

You’d been throwing up for what seemed like weeks, but was actually only a few days. That included among the back pain and sensitivity in odd parts of your body had you nervous; your family had a long history with several kinds of cancer.

Dragging a hand down your face, you debated (for the millionth time) calling Bo. But he was doing a show in a few hours and you didn’t want to bother him.

“Alright, Miss (y/l/n).” The curtain around your bed was pulled back and the older guy who had run all your tests came in with a clipboard in hand. “I think I know what your problem is.”

“Oh god.” You muttered, bracing yourself for the worst.

“You’re pregnant!” He said. Your head snapped up so fast you were sure whiplash could be added to your list of problems.

“I’m what?” You asked. He chuckled, pushing his glasses up on his nose.

“Pregnant.” He confirmed. You stared at him in silence for a few seconds.

“I’m-?”

“Pregnant.” He said one more time, emphasizing the word. You groaned and covered your eyes with your hand as though it would make it disappear.

It’s not that you were all that upset. You and Bo had been together for a long time, almost a year and a half, and you knew it wasn’t going to be a big deal, you just hadn’t been expecting to deal with this so soon.

“How far along?”

“About six weeks.” He answered. You glanced down at your stomach like you would be able to see through your skin.

“Six weeks.” You repeated to yourself quietly. He nodded.

Over the next half hour, the man talked to you about prenatal vitamins and exercise that you could do to help keep yourself healthy. The whole while, you were thinking about Bo.

Bo had always wanted kids, and you always wanted that for the two of you. You knew he would be an incredible father, his sense of humor and compassion such a good combination. Still, you wondered how he would react since his career was at an all time high and he was always on the road.

Speaking of being on the road, you knew you had to tell him tonight. You just had to. He was doing a show in the town you two had settled down in and would be headed out the very next day. So, as soon as you could get all your information, you went on your way.

You showed up about halfway through his show, and wasted no time telling his stage manager (and best friend) Mike the whole story. He managed to convince you to walk out onto the stage.

You’d been in a few of his shows before, and you were always all over his social media, so when the fans saw you, applause started everywhere.

“Look who decided to make a guest appearance!” Bo said, crossing the stage to give you a kiss. “What’s going on?” He asked, voice a little worried. You showing up hadn’t been planned, so he probably thought something was wrong.

“I wrote a joke, and I thought the audience would love to hear it!” You said. He raised an eyebrow like really? but stepped aside and let you walk forward. “Okay, you guys. What’s cute and funny and about to get really fat for a few months?”

A few guys yelled out some graphic things and others attempted to answer, but by the gasps slowly making their rounds, people seemed to be getting the idea.

“Y/N?” Bo asked.

“It’s me!” You said, turning to him and grinning. “I’m pregnant, Bo!”

You weren’t sure what his reaction was going to be, so when a huge grin broke out on his face to mirror yours, you breathed a sigh of relief.

“Are you kidding?” He asked. You shook your head and, in a moment, he’d swept you up into his arms, spinning you around and laughing.

The crowd was going crazy, but all you could hear was Bo telling you how much he loved you.
