surprise!! there's a gift on your desk! what is it? looks like...a small loaf of bread! it's soft and smells good (hopefully). oh, and a note! "dear mister president, have a zuccirific day!" could it be...zuccini bread? what will mr. president think? hmmm... look like there's a few packets of herbal tea blends, too. stay healthy, sir!

Tokens were a commodity though normally it goes through a couple rounds of security before it is planted on his desk. Apparently, this ‘client’ has never given him something to question, though certainly he’s questioned why the hell she does this in the first place.

At least it wasn’t chocolates or anything sugary of that nature. He’s sure he had lectured her before about most of his ‘sweets’ are catered off to his Turks to dispose of. Reno especially loved calls to the office to get rid of something for him. Most of the time it never touches any of the other Turk’s desk, the redhead had a bit of a sweet tooth; entirely created by Rufus’ gracious giving’s.

He’d keep this treat though. The tea was on his list of resolutions to use more. Rude was sure to lower his sunglasses each time someone questioned if the President wanted coffee or tea. Though he paid the man no attention when he performed this action, he could FEEL it radiating from the broad shoulder being.

He always opted for the tea.

what is your most favoritest thing to eat? anything sweet? least favorite? are you the kind of person who can eat the same thing (that you like) for days or do you need to change it up every day?

Favorite thing to eat.  He’d discovered a lot of things he enjoyed, all of which were firmly out of his suggested diet and off Shinra grounds.  “I suppose I’m fond of sweet things.”  He admitted, giving the matter a little more thought.  “I appreciate sweet rolls, but I have become very fond of chocolate.”  Maybe not in all its forms, but several.  Many.

The least favorite had such an easy answer that it was immediate with no need to think.  “SOLDIER protein supplement bars are vile.  They must be to anyone with standard taste buds, but they are... additionally vile to SOLDIERs.”  At least that did seem to be the case, though not everyone reacted quite as strongly with disgust as he did.

Thinking on the last question for a stretch of seconds, Sephiroth had to consider rations.  They weren’t great, but he had easily eaten the same day after day for weeks.  “I prefer variety.  Different flavors, textures, choices from day to day.  Though I don’t mind several days of leftovers, or eating something at least marginally edible for several days.  When days become weeks, that begins to get a bit trying.”

would rufus ever go to the haunted house at the gold saucer? or ride a chocobo? how about the ferris wheel? or bumper cars! would he like to go at all?

ShinRa has many celebratory festivities and since the Gold Saucer is owned by them, they often promote such parties there. He’ll place his bets at the Chocobo races, but he’ll never bother to ride one in any situation (unless dire need to do so). He finds them dirty and has a distinct scent of poultry about them (the scent that chickens have).

He’d visit the Haunted House and even go on the Ferris Wheel. Just because he’s a cutthroat businessman does not mean he can’t let loose when needed. Though usually, it is already under strict observation so he must play his role out in the public in maintaining his calm composure.

Bumper cars. No. That’s a bit too much of a thrashing that he would actually enjoy. He’d attend the horrendous theatre they have there though and mock the performance of it.

how does rufus feel about bath bombs and candles? what kind of scent/s does he like? also, will he write me a story tee-hee? no, hey, don't look at me like that! i was kidding!

Oh, he loves baths and everything that comes with it.. including candles and bath bombs. There’s nothing more relaxing than enveloping the senses with wonderful scents.

He has a proprietary blend of bath spices: jasmine, lavender, rosehips and a little Tahitian vanilla.

Candles are usually based on a vanilla though he does enjoy the scent of lilacs, it reminds him of the cliffside house in Junon with all the gardens that they kept.

As for a story.. he can round up last quarters’ financial budget if you want.

what kind of games would rufus be surprisingly good at? board games? video games? fire-the-idiot-who-asked-this-kind-of-question games?

If anything, he’d be good at strategic board games. Games like Monopoly? You bet he’d buy up all the railroads and take over blocks to add hotels.  This is essentially his life anyway. Unfortunately, this results in a lot of people not wanting to play such games with him. Everyone knows that Monopoly tears family and friends apart.

Other games are usually chess which is shared over brandy and if his guest likes cigars, he allows for this too (though he never smokes them).

Video games are out of the question. He’s all about technology but finds such games a waste of time. I’m assuming he wouldn’t be too good at them as well—too flashy and high active. He finds them having a lack of class as well but figures Reno spends a good chunk of his money and time with playing them on his days off (better be days off).

Dirk, more than delighted to do a 2 step with someone.

Abbigail, happy dances– just, happy dances. 

Sammie, confused yet merrily waltzing with someone.

Poppie, EXCITABLE and excessive movement of any kind that basically somehow looks like a dance. Can also ballroom dance.

Kyoya, many a sophisticated kind of dance, will only do so if it’s someone important that he has to please or if he wants something from the person.

Nelliel, doesn’t like ‘high class’ dancing, prefers random dancing in the living room and will gladly drag someone into it.

Koko, wanna be hip checked? Dance with her.

Dakota, soft slow dances with people he’s close to.

Zeru, doesn’t really dance per se as much as he goes to clubs with people he meets on his travels.

Seirios, suave boy will enchant people with rousing dances, not gonna lie. 

Felix, he’s got two left paws but he’ll try! For formal events he’s hired to attend, he often sticks to the only ‘formal’ dance he knows; the waltz.

Alexandre, happy snek will def join you in dancing any time you want him to, just don’t expect much. He’s a deity but it ain’t of dance and he’s still getting used to legs after 400+ years.

Hades, this boy will legit sweep you off your feet off the damn street to dance with you if he has a whim to. 

Muses least likely to dance with someone: 

Google, has a body but rarely uses it and while he can easily search up and learn how to dance in seconds– he doesn’t understand human nuances so he’s very unlikely to prompt it.

Emogene, oh she’ll dance if she’s drunk but it’s more like table top dancing and laughing. Might sling someone around but it’s very unlikely she’ll do anything at all.

Dominic, broody phantom ain’t got time for dancing.

Dwicky, while he can dance; he prefers to maintain physical distance.

Iso, is full of NOPE.

Nyx, will only dance with two(2) people but that’s it. Takes a lot for her to warrant that kind of closeness.

Ren, most certainly a soft and gentle boy but he has no idea how to dance and prefers to maintain distance with others.

Nemo, HOOVES, does not know how to dance like humans would. Also doesn’t want to risk anyone being up under his hooves. Even when he does have bi-pedal legs, he’s unlikely to dance because he doesn’t know how.

Charlie, I’m sorry she’s just way too nervous and will only dance with 2 people, one of which is her brother and it’s just silly ass dances while making breakfast.

Bluejay, she’ll legitimately claw you before letting you get withing close proximity of her like dancing entails.

Raven, he’ll dance with any of his clients or for any of his clients and he dances well– but it’s unlikely he’ll do so without prompting of being paid.

Bird’s nest, sorry his horrible dancing is reserved for Mitsu and those at the starlight tent lmao

Maka, she’ll dance, she likes to dance, but she dances with friends and thats about it.

Kurama, two left paws, no idea what he’s doing, doesn’t get why humans do it, weird little human things. (If a kid wants to dance with him however, he’ll try his best, he’s a push over for kids.)

Cora, soft, shy, anxious bean doesn’t know how to dance and doesn’t know how to people.

Lucie, anger child???? I’m sorry you want me to what??? Nopes out.

Ollie, Dances reserved for Alphie only.

Alphie, only dances with Ollie and Abbi honestly.

Bambi, definitely knows how to dance all kinds of ways but applies it to work and only to get information most of the time. Its not impossible for significant others or friends to get him to dance with them, its just rare.

Sebastian, only knows the 2 step and waltz. Can do those but isn’t likely to. More prone to silly dancing in the kitchen or shower.

Hiraeth, while she can dance it’s extremely unlikely to get her to because it reminds her of her home world.

Shiro, can ballroom dance and other varieties of formal dancing but it’s rare and basically exclusive to significant others or necessary political events. He doesn’t like the closeness.

if you had to play a game, like a board game or a video game, which game would it be? what would you enjoy the most? anywhere from clue to mario kart, i'm curious!

With a quietly amused snort, he took a moment to consider the idea.  “I think I mostly preferred playing cards, actually.  They seemed simpler, even the more complicated games.  One or occasionally two decks, set rules, few surprises.  Yet it managed to be engaging.”  And, at times, fun; even if that did often have to do with whether or not he was winning.  Or at least not losing.

“I haven’t been exposed to that many board games.  Though I’m not very fond of Risk.”  Sephiroth didn’t completely succeed at keeping bitterness out of his voice, but the tone remained light.  “Something ridiculously irreverent might be more interesting.  Something… silly.  With a spinner of some kind, and possibly game pieces.”  He had no idea if he would enjoy that sort of game, but the thought remained intriguing.

On the subject of video games, his mind wandered for a moment.  “I haven’t much experience with video games, either, but I rather like the calm ones.  Where the goal isn’t to fight or kill, just explore.  Or to get somewhere.”  After a moment’s pause, he admitted a bit more carefully, “The concept of horror, something evoking fear that you always have the option to merely turn off is also a bit appealing.”
