You have some really sick skate shots. Any tips?
invest in a good dslr. make sure you have a decent off camera flash you can you use for different light sources (using a radio trigger slave mode and capable of rapid fire of course), a fisheye lens (i use a rokinon 8mm), a tripod, and a standard kit lens could do you just fine
i also recommend getting a macro lens for shots you might want to get from farther away and lens filters so that you get some good color correction/grading before you go into post editing
other than that, just remember that you'll usually want to make your subject "pop" and highlight the trick they're doing (which mostly depends on the angle you choose). i find that a lot of low shots angled upward work well, because it makes the subject stand out
and of course, if you do long lens photography, it's always nice to consider the surroundings and how large/small you want to portray the trick (i tend to make the subject smaller if they're going for something really big cos it captures the difficulty of it all)
most importantly, just find ways to make each shot really unique. i know not all my shots are super special and different, but there are sometimes those ones that do really captivate the eye, so be creative
