omg CONGRATS! But I do feel that. I’m personally just how blown away by how mature my lil brother has gotten so fast because we used to hate each other but now we get along so well and something about that just makes me feel old

Thank you so much for your response! For me and my 8 year old, there was such a dramatic light bulb moment, as in we both went "Oh yes, non-binary, that explains so much!" But to hear that it isn't always like that for others is just the reminder I needed. My 6 year old, at age 5, had said, "I'm a boy brain and a boy body," from a quite educated place and I'd forgotten that PEOPLE CHANGE. So tempting to box and label kids, but it doesn't serve them at all. Thanks again.
