So I bought a switch and got let's go pickachu and I know a lot of people aren't a fan of it but I've been playing Pokémon as a casual gamer for years and I absolutely adored Pokémon yellow as a kid and I've never completed a Pokémon game in my life because I always get stuck or bored and basically I really like this game and I hope I manage to complete this one because maybe then I'll be better at the later ones

For my pokemon nerds, does anyone know if after catching a shiny, if that affects the shiny rate? Or if it’s soley based on catch combos/etc. I can’t remember where I heard/read this, but since I just caught my first shiny (2/3/19) I wanted to ask around.
