I loved this show and I thought the story was brilliant - without spoiling it, I want to explain why this quote is so important. Kinsey thinks that she isn’t brave because someone had to save her. When she’s referring to “final girls” that’s the girl who survives at the end of the scary movie. There’s currently this ideal of the strong independent woman who can fight all her battles herself.
