19/50 Bed by LaRue Via Flickr: Allergies have been robbing me of energy recently :/ All I want to do is sleep it seems! But I'd rather have a bed in the forest for this weeks theme!

[41] Ink Stain by Silvia Travieso G. Via Flickr: Words dripped from her skin; stories ripped her heart apart in a futile attempt to escape; her blood became ink so long ago. Unable to stop the neverending flow she let herself be engulfed by its own self Week 41: Character 81/100 - Pen & Paper I was a literature crazy before photography showed up in my life; two loves I owe to my father. Even though I love to read long intricate stories, I've never been able to write one. The short format has always been my kryptonite. I'm fascinated by how a couple of phrases or words can create a whole background story, character and mood (which totally makes sense with photography and the ability to capture a whole story on a frame). That, also, I share with my father. He's been writing short poems and haikus since I can remember, in every corner of paper, in the last couple blank pages of a book, on hotel notepads... So when I came across this massive folder full of his old letters, poems, thoughts...I knew I had to pay a tribute to that. So this is me flowing in a sea of my fathers inked words.
