some quick study tips for you all
Because it’s Monday tomorrow and this coming week is going to be hectic!!
Try and study in new and different places. Clear out the cobwebs a bit! You don’t want to start associating your usual study space with boredom, or confinement. Your desk might be your favourite place in the world, but it’s always a good idea to get out and go some place new.
Study actively. By this, I mean, keep challenging yourself. Think of new ways to organise your notes. Think of a new strategy. Test yourself again and again. If you engage your mind as you study, you’ll remember it better! And when you’re studying for exams, that’s what counts. This guide is one of my favourites to help following this rule.
Do your best to stay alert. In order to study actively, you’ve got to stay focussed. Don’t let your mind wander. In order to do so, follow some tried and tested studyblr recommendations. Drink cold water, or eat a healthy snack. Take small and frequent breaks. Get up out of your chair, stretch, or go for a walk. Don’t let yourself stagnate.
Study at the right time for you. This is different for everyone, but it’s oh so important. I work best in the morning right after breakfast, so I always try and get an early start! If I tried to work in the evening, I’d get absolutely nothing done, and waste valuable relaxation time. If you work best in the evening, let yourself wake up a little later in the morning, or have a nap. It’s important to be well rested.
I hope you all have a productive week!
