The Lady Govs basketball team posed for pictures on the rainy final day of Clarksville’s Rivers and Spires festival. Therapy pets visited the Ard Building to help students relieve end-of-semester stress. Students enjoyed donuts in the library to kick off Govs Give week. President Alisa White was all smiles before doing a skydiving jump with the U.S. Army’s Golden Knights. President Alisa White and Evans Harvill dedicated a tree as part of Austin Peay State University's 90th anniversary celebration on the Browning lawn. A student in a dinosaur suit took part in the car smash at the Greek Mixer in the MUC Plaza. After an interview for Channel 4′s “Today in Nashville,” President White participated in the “Pie A Zeta fundraiser” for Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. The communication department hosted their Comm Carnival in the Foy Fitness Center on Thursday. The Govs Give campaign raised more than $126,000 for different university departments.

                               Monday, April 17  - Thursday, April 21

Austin Peay State University kicked off a week full of recognition with the 2017 Scholarship Donor Dinner on Tuesday. Environmental Artist Stacy Levy worked through the week on an art installation behind the Marks Building. Govs got their hands dirty while giving back to their campus during the annual Plant the Campus Red event.  A student photographer was caught in action in the housing quad. Student Crystal Wallenius presented research at the Chemistry Research Symposium. Signs of spring continued to arrive as students enjoyed a newly beautified campus between sporadic rain showers.
