So here is a 1am post on how I think I am doing okay.

It starts with me. I have lost 5 pounds since I started my fitness pal. A personal victory but a victory none the less. It is coming a long gradually I guess but this is only the beginning. Amy has been such an amazing motivator through this so far and I feel like it is something I can accomplish. She texts me little reminders and gives me tips when we are together. She has really been perfect.

Another little accomplishment I am making is the whole 'Healthy Relationships' number on my New Years resolution. I dug myself quite the little hole after high school; it wasn't a pleasant taste I left in the mouths of some people. Mostly, I am letting the burned bridges stand as they are - makes no sense to only build on the one side - as well as making an effort to just stay on neutral territory. Really it isn't as complicated as it sounds. I don't see Madison nearly as much as I would like because of bad work schedules but I feel like I am maintaining hers and the other relationships in my life. And I made new ones. Wings night is quite a blessing I look forward to every Thursday and not for the beer.

Making The Rose & Crown my weekly stomping ground has lead to some interesting 'bump-ins' including old co-works, people from my grad class and most notably my cousin. I hadn't seen my cousin Maddison since her grad - and before that I couldn't tell you. It was a series of missed connections I am sure but it feels great to reconnect. She pulled me aside at the bar and hugged me before I could even identify who it was.

My relationship with my entire family is rather estranged. I worked alot in high school and missed a lot of dinners, birthdays and annivversarys as well as not really trying on my moms side. I am wondering if seeing Maddy will be the catalyst to reconnect and things.

My dad booked a vacation for Himself, my sister and I. He is taking us for a week to Disneyland, Universal Studios and Sea World. It is so exciting because I have never been. It is in the end of May so my goal is to grab a couple of pairs of nice shorts and rock the fuck out of those. Yeah. Goal clothes.

Additionally, I couldn't be happier that I am with Will. Sometimes I wonder if i tell him too much, or not enough at all. This weekend he spent at my place (when he wasn't working). Lounging, chatting etc. We ordered in Chinese and talked about the future including my goals for this year.

I think I may want to go back to school in September - even for part time to get up to speed. And yet I still want to run off and live abroad. I also want to move out and wake up next to Will every day.

At least all my problems and dilemmas right now are trivial. I guess i have a month or two before I need to make any major moves - that is long enough to chew on it.
