Our voices should not be silenced when it comes to unfair treatment, which is what #AllLivesMatter is intended to do. Yes, I do believe that in the long run, we will be able to say that all lives matter and are equal to one another, but that hashtag cannot be used in this day in age.

just my opinion but...

okay so i know it’s my opinion and it probably doesn’t matter but can people please stop talking about how great the 40′s, 50′s, ect. were? please- and i don’t mean all of people that actually lived during that time but the teens that are talking saying things like “it was so much more chill back then...” or “the clothes are amazing- that whole era was amazing!” like bitch no- the only thing “amazing” about that time was the fact that my grandparents were born then. like come on, you really call men controlling everything a woman does “amazing”? or what about all the colored people? and the trans people? other lgbtq+ people? the only people who had it easy that time and pretty much every time before were the cis white men. now what i’m saying may just apply to the us but still, can we please stop romanticizing things like that. 

oh! and lets also not joke or romanticize things like abuse- any kind or suicide and depression, mental illness in general. djkahadskjhf i wish some people would just understand that this shit isn’t funny and it isn’t a joke. but again this is just my opinion so do what you want ig
