Gender stratification can be described as the inequalities between genders within society. Such inequalities are Privilege, Power, and Wealth

In some societies Men are the ones enduring gender stratification, however this is not common but still relevant.

Gender stratification begins with the inner family
Babies are physically held differently based on their gender
Babies are talked to differently and are expected to approach life differently
Male and Female Gender Norms
Around the age of 3, toddlers develop their assigned gender roles and pursue activities and attitudes based on societal gender norms.
Males are generally expected and encouraged to be leaders and rational
This is encouraged by putting boys in rational activities, like sports where there are only two outcomes.
Females are encouraged to be supportive and develop great interpersonal skills
This is encouraged by putting girls in activities such as artistic activities that have no winner or loser and are subjective + largely based around good morals

Matriarchy, females are dominant to males

Behavior
Sexism is the belief that one gender is superior to the other

Home ( uneven distribution of chores in the house second shift )
Society
Pornography dehumanizes women and portrays women as a tool to deal with sexual pleasure
Politics ( The gender gap refers to the different political attitudes that each gender seems to adopt; men are normally more conservative and women are normally more liberal because of the safety net programs they offer )
Media ( ads, movies etc...) portrays women as submissive figures that are inferior to the male and the media capitalizes on feminine activities, goods, and services such as Accessories, Cleaning supplies, and merchandise
3. Workplace, Although women are more likely to be employed than men. Many women experience Sexual harassment in their work environment and some find that they are not being treated like a professional within their field and that they have to put more effort into their work just to be recognized.

Intersection Theory is the analysis of the interplay of Race, Class, and Gender, this results in the presence of multiple dimensional disadvantages.
Type-A Personality marked by chronic impatience, driving ambition, competitiveness, and free-floating hostility ( due to societal norms of masculinity)
Why did men become evidently more dominant in society than women?
One of the reasons that women were not allowed to vote was based on false Biology. Many women were denied the right to participate in higher level education, work in the military, vote, and work to develop an income.
Women were defined as intellectually incapable of making political decisions and physically unable to work in the military.
How do we solve gender stratification?
Whether you believe in stratification being essential to society or you oppose its presence.
Feminists may not have been the first to alleviate gender stratification, but they were the most effective for making rightful women’s rights and reproductive rights.
