You came back today. And you asked me for the keys. I still can't believe you are back. I thought I would not see you again... I have so many questions to ask you, but the second I saw you I couldn't speak. So I only asked you the one question that mattered the most: are you staying for school.
Regardless of what happens, you're never losing me.
@mr-panda-is-a-princess
I would do everything in my power to keep you safe. I know we aren't together or anything but I will always protect you. Don't ever think you're alone and you never have to fear of losing me.
@mr-panda-is-a-princess
You make me so happy each time I think about you and literally sometimes I'll be in formation, standing there at attention, and I'll think about you and smile so wide. (Then get screamed at) But it is so totally worth it thinking of your absolutely amazing self.

Dear Blaine,
I like the fairy tale, too. I'm definitely a big believer in happy endings. The "happily ever after" kind, not the sexy kind. Although, let's be honest - the sexy kind are great, too. Which should hopefully answer your other question, but just in case you weren't sure - yes. I absolutely, 100% believe in love at first sight. Although...I'm really hoping that it can be more than that for us. So often you hear about couples that have this incredible attraction right off the bat, but eventually the novelty wears off and they find the same connection with someone else. That's not really what I want. Especially not with you. What you said in your letter - about your soul being part of this? - it's exactly the same for me. I haven't felt this way about anyone and it's a little scary because it's so fast and so unusual, but it's also amazing and wonderful. Because you're amazing and wonderful. And every day I'm thankful that my letter ended up in your hands. I like that our letters are that way. There's still so much I don't know about you and I want to be able to find out everything. When you tell me about your troop or your mission or how you're a terrible poker player, it makes me feel more connected to you. Okay, so I may have deduced the part about you being a terrible poker player, since you didn't actually say that exactly. But now I'm curious. Am I right? You have incredibly expressive eyes, that's all I'll say. It would be great if you were here to see Rachel's play. She's amazingly talented (and highly annoying. I think I'm done being her manservant already) and I know she'd love to have you there. She's already planning a double date for when you visit. I expressly told her no vegan restaurants. Tell me more about this pampering you intended to do. I'm intrigued. And maybe a little excited. I miss you. I don't think I've said that in this letter yet. I haven't had the chance to meet Wes yet. I know Penny plans on keeping him locked up in the bedroom for as long as she can and there's really nothing about that I want to be involved in. I'm heading down to Jersey next weekend though, so I'll have lots to report in my next letter. Of course I love Carole King. Tapestry is probably one of my all time favorite albums. Which means we will definitely go see Beautiful. I did have a list of things for us to do, but it's constantly changing. The one thing that remains the same is kissing. It fills at least three pages on my itinerary and it's still growing. I hope you're okay with that. Be safe. I miss you. Kisses, Your Cookie PS I named the cranes Frasier and Niles.
