Day 3 of lettering advent! This was another new one to me! 🥳 I love small brush pens. They are what I used to learn lettering to begin with, so it's what I'm most comfortable using. A really nice vibrant red color that perfect for Christmas.

Day 1 of lettering advent! I'm going to be opening one every other day. This marker was totally new to me. (Somewhat shocking considering my collection.) You can apparently use it on fabric but I didn't have anything handy so I just wrote the first word I could think of. Advent!

Last day of lettering advent! It's a TUL Retractable Gel Pen. A beauty with gold accents, and hefty construction that makes it feel super premium to write with. Day 11 of lettering advent. It's a Snowhite FP20 fountain pen. Seems to be a simple, disposable pen, but I must say writing with it felt like the tip was smooth as glass. It glides over the paper so silky, it's a lovely feeling. Quite surprising! Feels similar build quality to the Pilot Varsity.

Day 9 of lettering advent. It's a Royal Talens Ecoline Brush Pen. I have used these markers before, but not in this color. They are really juicy and fun. They also pair well with their liquid watercolors if you want to dip it and get a smooth color blend.

Day 8 of lettering advent. It's a Blackwing Matte pencil. And no, I didn't write "lump of coal" because I'm disappointed, I wrote it because it's a pencil and it just made sense. (Even though graphite and coal are different I suppose...) I've always wanted to try these famous pencils but could never really justify the price. What a perfect gift, a fancy pencil. Love it.
And I've only done pencil calligraphy once or twice before so this was not the most amazing, but I tried!
