Well I earned like 60 cents on HubPages so far. If only I could write an article in a popular topic-- or market my stories the right way, or both. Some people earn hundreds a month I think.

Another good thing about HubPages is that no one can copy your work. They don’t allow any duplicate content anywhere else on the Internet. It has to be exclusive to HubPages, so you can’t post it anywhere else, but you also will know if anyone has stolen your story. 

It works for writing a short story or serial novel that you will keep there permanently, or writing something you want feedback on and will delete and publish elsewhere later. 

The only problem is that there is not a lot of fiction there yet. But I don’t know why there shouldn’t be, especially with the guarantee that your work cannot be copied. 

If a lot of writers would go there, we could become a community that would read and comment on each others’ work without fear of what we’ve worked on being stolen.

Spark into Flame also got this... one gets suspicious that most are accepted...but maybe they are just good? I mean, I got a good comment (and a not good comment when was published.....) 

But it’s just the first chapter. Hopefully I’ll be able to finish the 2nd (last?) chapter as it’s a sidequel.
