For Mikaila, it was a flaxseed lemonade recipe ~ sweetened by honey ~ that came from her great granny that led to creating Me & the Bees Lemonade. It’s now a thriving business with an important social purpose. This young social entrepreneur is at the helm. And, Shelly Kim’s childhood love of typography and crafts opened a world of creative opportunities for this self-taught modern brush calligrapher. Mikaila’s quotation in the pic is beautifully lettered by Shelly, whose talents have turned into a calligraphy book, clever do-it-yourself kits, and courses. These days Shelly travels extensively helping others discover the mindful joy that comes with lettering.
