I'm so sorry you got the bad side of the fandom. I was lucky I met some terrific people. I'd like to change the image you have from the fandom itself, but I know it's not the case. People are mean for stupid reasons... and at 11 I wouldn't know how to deal with that either. You're certainly much, much more than what mean people can say to you.
I definitely agree with you, I've met amazing people here but at the same time, it doesn't exactly compensate for the crap that goes down here. I wasn't the closest to Duda but she was absolutely sweet and kind and seeing that she got pushed so much that she deactivated just hurts a lot. Lo siento if I offended you in the way I worded my rant, by the way. Someone posted about the fandom not lasting after the last book because of all the hate.
