he’s being a lil matchmaker as soon as he sees robert again

anon, aaron could be married in 10 years time with 2 other kids and if robert sets foot in that village a reunion is imminent. the gravity pull between those two is absolutely undeniable. there are forces in the universe that hold together galaxies but somehow robert and aaron's attraction is somehow stronger than anything out there. you don't have to believe, you just have to see.

aaron: married with two children and one on the way

Not an anon but robron meet as single parents at school because their kids wre rowdy and planned a parent trap. Discuss.

So they pull up to the school at the exact same time and Aaron is staring at Robert’s ridiculously amazing car. He notices that Robert looks like he wants to kill a man and he marches into the school when Aaron walks like a normal man.

They have to wait outside together until Ms Budding is available. Aaron plays on his phone and Robert stares at his watch. He looks at Aaron for about two seconds and then looks away and only speaks again when the teacher calls them in and says their kids have been in a fight. She says Mr Dingle and Robert thinks that explains it all.

Seb’s got a torn shirt and the other kid next to him is Aaron’s. He’s got a red puffy face but they’re both sort of smirking which is odd.

Aaron obviously gets his back up, defends Gabriel until the cows come home and Robert is calling him delusional. They literally sit there bickering for about half an hour and take it outside when Ms Budding says she needs to get home. They’re hurling insults in the carpark, their sons at laughing their arses off next to their respective idiot of a dad.

And then Seb says they should go get a coffee and cut to the chase. Aaron’s eyes widen at it and then Gabriel divulges that he heard his dad tell uncle Adam that Robert’s “fit but a twat” Aaron turns bright red and Robert smirks until Seb points out that he knows his dad wanted to take him out for ages.

They both blush and Gabriel calls them stubborn idiots, explains about their fake brawl. Aaron turns to Robert and says they must be desperate to see them happy. He doesn’t know if Robert’s been feeling a little lonely lately but he definitely has. And Robert is fit, even if he is Vic’s annoying brother.

Robert does ask him for that date, and Aaron does agree.

And twelve months later Gabriel and Seb are going around calling each other brothers.
