an about post, because im behind
Orion Hall | 580 | Dragon The elder of the Hall siblings on campus, Orion’s been a semi staple for the university for a while, having served as its main security officer for the last decade or so. Most of the time, his job entails of making sure no one gets into areas they shouldn’t, and occasionally shutting down parties that get too out of hand. But, in all truth, Orions only loyalty is to his sister, and so in the course of his job, he often falls prey to a known weakness of his species - pretty things. Shiny bits of treasure, money in his account, or even some time spent with someone pretty enough is an easy way to make him turn a blind eye to just about anything that doesn’t affect his family personally. Just dont tell the administration, yeah?
Alex Hall | 459 | Dragon The second Hall on campus, Alex is a slightly less well known member of the faculty, considering the classes she “teaches” are usually taken only by those needing extra credits, or simply looking to fill their time with a supposedly easy elective. Not that she makes it easy on the students, of course. Abrasive and brash at the best of times, Alex can be trusted to care about three things - herself, her hoard, and, most of the time, her brother. Students don’t make the list, and so it’s not uncommon to find her cheerfully seated on a pile of random objects in the gym, heckling her students as they fight for her entertainment, occasionally throwing actual advice in if she’s in a good mood. Much like her brother, she’d easily bribed as well, though her tastes run towards what makes her feel good - booze, drugs, or pretty people all make the cut.
Levian | 639 | Demon A demon, teaching a theology course? Well, is it really that much stranger than a demon starting a cult to teach about how sex and sexual freedom helps humans grow closer to each other and encourages positive emotional bonds between people? Not really, in Lev’s eyes, which is probably due to the fact that he rarely considers anything he does to be strange at all, wether or not his own logic behind it makes sense to other people. He works off his own rules and morals, and while the cult might have disbanded, you can still expect plenty of invitations to orgies if you hang around Lev long enough.
Archer Kingston | 23 | Sorcerer If you were to access the universities files, or talk to Archer, this is what you would learn: Archer Kingston, a fairly recently enrolled student to the university, was in a near fatal car crash when he was 19, and, up until that point, was a human with no idea of anything that existed beyond his world. With parents that separated shortly after he was born, he was unaware that his father was a sorcerer, and held a family contract with a demon, and was also unaware of his fathers death three weeks before the crash. It was pure luck that brought Julian to find him just before the crash, and luck that they managed to make a pact that both granted him the abilities of a sorcerer, and healed his wounds before he bled out. Since then, the fairly withdrawn, but well meaning, male has been trying to get a handle on his new abilities, and struggling to find his place in this new world he’s been so suddenly and traumatically thrust into. Of course, if you happen to be Archer, Julian, or a certain other someone on campus who knew him before that pact was made, you’d know most of that was bullshit. Archer was raised by a hunter mother, into a life style of hunting supernaturals that posed a threat to the humans unaware of them. His father was a sorcerer, and had a family contract, but he died much earlier than Archer claims, and Julian had been watching him for some time. Nor was it a car crash that nearly killed him, but instead a Fae on a killing spree he was hunting, when Archer lost track of his partner and dropped his guard at the wrong time, resulting in vicious injuries that left him bleeding out on the ground. The rest of it - Julian appearing to offer a pact that healed him, leaving his life behind, struggling to learn to use his new powers - is true however, and good luck getting him to talk about anything before his arrival here.
