I know nothing about translations, but from a religious stance, could it be closer to Bowing to God's Name? Or falling in the prostrating sense? Again, don't know the language, so its just a guess!

That would be nice, but I don’t think so. I'm not sure that's a meaning you can get out of it. I haven't seen any usage or definition that would suggest such.

I've seen it translated as "Those Fallen To God's Name" before?                  

That’s an option but I still don’t know that’s the best way to put it.
