Lessons in being Fairy Queen

Because of the prophecy about Mephisto's sleep, Iris becomes his Queen. He offers to let her take the title in name only- she's his queen officially, but she doesn't have to leave her human life behind.

Iris does not take this out, to Everyone's Surprise.

So, Mephisto takes it upon himself to teach her about the way the Forest functions, and how she's going to have to help him govern the fae within it.

First order of business: introducing her to the more docile fae, like sprites! They're little glowing people with gossamer wings, think Tinkerbell.

They can be mischievous and play pranks, or they can be tied to a season and be more serious and grounded. It depends on the sprite in question! Mephisto introduces Iris to two of his favorite sprites, Lev the Autumn Sprite, and Talia the Summer Sprite. Lev is recovering from just finishing up his season, and Talia isn't too happy to have been woken up from her nap during her off-season. She will teach this dopey new human a few new tricks, though, so maybe next time The Prince wants to bother her during her hibernation, he'll reconsider.

1. New Years Party

First kiss of the new year! Praxina got a little impatient, and didn't exactly wait for the countdown to finish before she lunged ;)

2-3. Favorite Character/Side Character

Carissa is my favorite design of the princesses, hands down

Joanna is the prettiest character, tho, like.... i could die she's so pretty

4. Genderbend

Yeah, no.

5. Role Swap

Lev and Talia swap places! Everything else is pretty much the same, tho

I mean, Izira is from Volta and the rebel leader not by dint of being a powerful Princess, but just being an accomplished sorcerer in her own right. She and Talia got separated at a young age, and aren't aware the other is still around for a while

Lev joined the resistance pretty much the same way Carissa and Lyna do, by volunteering

Xeris probably still fell to Gramorr but maybe it went differently

I'll need to think about it if i revisit this au again

Xerin Princess

Wanted to draw, and the amino voted Talia, so this got finished! I wanted to experiment a little with shading!

I like the look but it took like, twice as long as normal and my wrist is aching all over again, so I probably won't do this exact technique again
