Level 95: “Have I mentioned, I fucking hate Halloween.”
Xiao Nai wished everyone in his house would just go away. He knew he had to throw a Halloween party, but he honestly couldn’t stand the holiday. Not the gimmicky thing, but the having to dress up and put in effort to meet people. His kids were laughing out in the living room, but the only thing he wanted to do was spend time with his wife. He was dressed in a western style from the film Pride and Prejudice. Weiwei said she wanted to be Elizabeth Bennett from the the Jane Austen book. Mr. Darcy was his only option.
“What’s wrong.” Weiwei came into their bedroom, shutting the door behind her.
“Have i mentioned, I fucking hate Halloween.” He spoke quiet so that other people outside wouldn’t hear.
“No you don’t. You hate people in your house. You did promise them a party here.” Weiwei came to stand in front of him, holding his hands.
“You didn’t hate it last year or the year before.”
“Well the kids went with their friends and I got you too myself both years.” He smirked up at her, earning a nudge to his shoulder.
“Mr. Darcy, please be patient. After the party-” She leaned in close whispering a promise in his ear.
“Whatever Mrs. Darcy wishes.” He kissed her hand. Standing up, he placed her hand in his arm, smiling at her. “Let’s get this party over with.”
