Assignment aims/Introduction
"This level five module enables you to explore contemporary curatorial roles and contexts through visits to and from a range of art-world professionals, and attendance at lectures and seminars on the practicalities of exhibition making. The module encourages you to develop a curatorial position through practice and testing out ideas. The module also requires you to demonstrate critical and reflective thinking, planning, problem-solving and task management. Taking up a position within discourse on the basis of relevant knowledge and being prepared to defend that position while acknowledging the potential need to change that position."
