1. Be More Positive- This worked really well for me last year. It doesn’t mean I have to be bright, happy, rainbows-coming-out-of-my-butt positive, just that I should be more positive in the way I phase things. Say “when I” not “if I.”
2. Get A New Job- I have been in at my current work place for almost 10 years now. I started there to help pay my way through university. I really need to step up my Application Game and get out!
3. Move Out!- This year I will be turning 29, I still live at home with my parents. There is nothing wrong with that. I don’t knock it. I am extremely lucky in that they have let me stay here. (I do pay rent but not as much as I would else where.) I think it’s time for my to stand on my own two feet.
4.(Finally) Get My Driver’s License- I know, I’ve been working on this one for a while but this is the year! I can feel it!!
5. Write More- I need to better manage my time. I know I can only write so long as there is inspiration, but I need to better take advantage of the time I have. While I never stop writing, I need to write more stuff that I actually post...
6. Say “Yes” More- This one kind of ties into the be more positive... I’m not turning into the “yes man” but I often turn down invitations to hang out with my friends, even if I want to. There will of course be days I won’t want to go out/ be around people, but I also feel like I am wasting my life away sitting in my room. This also ties into the driver’s license. Once I can drive, I can go out more, knowing I can leave when I want and that I will always have a way home.
