Me and My Blind Dad Raging On the Level of Stupidity of on our local TV Radio RN
TV Radio: A 15 year old was a victim of a hit and run near the school premises. The crime was caught it on a CCTV cam; however it was blurry. Here are the relatives asking for help on the situation.
Relative1: I'm pleading on the behalf of my family, to please help us find justice on my kid. The authorities wont let us take my child's body because they said we need a permit after they autopsied the body.
Relative2: I'm pleading the suspect to have a heart and go to give himself up.
Me: . . .
Dad: . . .
Me:. . .
Dad:. . .
Me: First of all, why would they need to do an autopsy to a known cause of death caught on tape? Would they find the plate number of the truck imprinted on the body? Pieces of the truck might not even help because a lot of these vehicles are not even legally registered in our 3rd world country. If its by the relatives' choice that they don't want an autopsy taken isn't it their right to be able to retrieve the body? Why do the relatives need to pay a big amount for the unconsented autopsy report done?
Dad: Our system is that f**ked up.
Me: Yes, I know! I could commit murder in this country and I could even hide it God-knows-where community because they handle crimes like this in a local town. They won't make a national report that a murder is on spree unless I do it multiple times!
Dad: You can actually get away with it and stay hidden for the rest of your life.
Me: I KNOW!!! Second of all, what is the use of a f**king CCTV Cam if all u get are blurry images? What are we even technologically incapable of enhancing the freaking image to get a freaking license plate? (if the truck even had a license plate because I have actually seen some that were just drawn on cardboard paper w/ a pentel pen. I kid you not.) Thirdly, where are the first responders(sp?) on the scene?! If this crime was reported then you might have collected data from every people in the scene of probable eye witnesses? Almost everybody have cams on their phones! Its impossible that nobody saw or video that?!
Dad: The killer might never be found, hon'.
Me: But seriously, dad, I may not know much about proper law or investigations and stuff, and my knowledge may be limited to those CSI shows that I like too much. I'm just freakingly disappointed at the level of stupidity of how this thing was handled. It was near a school premises for God's Sake!
