YOU'RE WELCOME. if i can get one more person to watch librarians it'll be worth it, great lil show. marry me is a beat by beat romcom but if you like romcoms it is basically flawless as an execution of the genre - john rogers knows his shit.

other things you should watch: the ark and the outpost are both also by the same crew that made leverage and librarians. the ark is a star trek firefly the expanse ish spaceship disaster of the week show - really interesting worldbuilding, contained cast, not afraid to bump off characters, set as humanity begins to expand into the stars instead of as we've got a civilisation out there. the outpost is a classic fantasy chosen one narrative that kinda goes off the rails in terms of plot but just ends up being entirely about found family in the same way the rest of these shows are (leverage and librarians and almost paradise included). so much passion.

(almost paradise didn't get on the rec list because i need people to trust me before i recc it. same creative team as leverage and librarians and the ark and the outpost, stars christian kane, has issues i could talk at length about but if you like the rest of them and are okay with cop shows then you'll like AP.)

yet more things - caper! like, hour long miniseries made with no budget by amy berg, who's a writer and producer on leverage. stars among others beth riesgraf (parker), it's thinly veiled superhero fanfiction and just a great way to spend a small amount of your time - it's all on youtube for free.

leverage con artists is a 2019 kdrama "adaptation" of leverage which has since been sneakily canonised into the main leverage universe as of redemption. pacing is kdrama pacing so it's a bit slow if you're not used to that, but the characters are WONDERFUL and they truly develop into their own as the season goes.

librarians is the easiest thing to rec after leverage, though. start there. tonally if you liked Leverage Redemption then it'll be fine - the fourth season is a bit of a waste of time but i just love all the characters so much.

i keep meaning to make a proper rec list for media to consume if you liked leverage, actually. the oceans 11 movies should be on it, duh, as well as other classics of the genre like the rockford files. oh, and the italian job is just a great watch if you love heist stories - guess where leverage got it's title gimmick from? and the now you see me movies hit a lot of the same buttons leverage does, despite being a lot more popcorn-y.

anyway. rec list coming... at some point in the future. it's longer than this and in my drafts. but WATCH LIBRARIANS!!! and leverage con artists, it's really slept on by this fandom.

i like to think that roy never named his dog after eliot the hitter but rather it was just a coincidence. but when hurley met elliot the dog, he assumed it was named after eliot the hitter, and spread misinformation.

specifically experimenting with jokbal for roy

breanna and eui sung exchanging memes

sophie and soo kyung sending fashion ideas and good deals (not that they need them. they’re loaded.)

hardison also participates in that thread because he will always love a good disguise

neal also participates. his menswear outfits are the most tasteful and suave

hardison and eui sung talking code and how they love their partners

hardison hyping eui sung up to accept that na byeol and roy actually love him and want to be with him because he knows what it’s like to hardcore pine

breanna spams their chat with pictures of roy’s dog. she’s working on wearing them down so they can adopt one too
