When O!Steve comes to them and starts asking about Hellfire of course the Corroded boys was suspicious. They were only a few weeks from Summer break and they’d been left alone for the most part, everyone too focused on end of year things to mess with them. They didn’t need King Steve making trouble for them. So they convinced Eddie to move the session to his trailer. Only for Steve to show up there with baked goods and a smile. Apparently Wayne had spilled the beans enchanted by the Omegas charm and sports expertise. The only reason they didn’t kick him out was because the Party vouched for him so hard even Mike. However they made it clear they’d be keeping an eye on him. It didn’t take them long to piece together why Steve was suddenly so interested in DnD though. Steve starts making goo goo eyes at Eddie and offering him the biggest treats within the first few minutes of the session. They will admit (reluctantly) that Steve seemed like an alright guy. They even suggested he swing by for their next meeting. However that didn’t mean they approved of Steve’s attempts at courting their Alpha. If they’d learned anything in High school and living in Hawkins it was to keep your friends close and your enemies closer. They were definitely planning on running some interference until the omega really proved himself to the Corroded pack.
Protective PJ and Dude-in-Distress Max
Goof Troop Episode: O, R-V, I-N-V-U" (Max gets kidnapped and PJ saves him)
Goof Troop Episode: Big City Blues (The subway trolly heads straight for Max, who freezes, and PJ jumps to push him out of harm's way)
Goof Troop Episode: Where There's Smoke, There's Goof: (Max freezes again and PJ saves him)
Goof Troop Episode: Talen to the Max (Max gets controlled by a magic hat, PJ attempts to save him plenty of times until he gives Max the secret to how to get rid of the hat.)
Goof Troop Episode: Maximum Insecurity (As Leech threatens to hurt Max for causing the stolen perfume to break, PJ steps between them hiding Max from Leech.)
There was also the episode when Max used to get bullied by Tooth, but I forgot its name.
Max freezing in the face of danger should be used in fanfic more as it's a canon trait, I think I've used it in my Maxley fics and the crossover with Ducktails.
Another Undertale anti-skeleharem idea thanks to my mind poorly attempting to figure out dialogue for my tik tok vids.
So, something I've seen fluctuating with popularity in the skeleharem fics is the isekai into Undertale trope. So, imagine that two friends, one completely familiar with Undertale and especially the skeleharem fandom (though he'll be attracted to a different group in the fic), and one with very little knowledge about the game thanks to the friend, get transmigrated to Undertale.
This is obviously a dream come true for Friend while OC is just there for the ride. As they get settled, some things happen that make Friend realize that maybe they're not in the best situation while OC is struggling to understand the dangers.
First, they're both Mages. Which was cool; until Friend realized ABO Dynamics apply for Mages and Monsters, and not the flexible kind he'd prefer. He's quick to find out their alignments; Friend's being Alpha (a relief to him), and OC's being Omega (something Friend immediately panicked over while she watched with confusion).
Second, they live in a monster neighborhood. Preferable, since there were a lot of hate crimes being committed against Mages as much as against Monsters. However, one of their neighbors are the skeletons. Which wouldn't be so bad, if Friend hadn't been given a dose of reality that a good portion had darker morals and were really manipulative. Granted, he had no idea if any of them had changed or were different from their depictions, but he didn't want to risk catching their attention regardless. Which is why, when he kept catching a few of them talking or interacting with OC, he always freaked and was protective and stuff. Making her confused and the skeletons feel all types of ways.
Third, and perhaps the worst, is that most of the skeletons have a couple girlfriends. This wouldn't really be a problem, if Friend didn't realize that they're the anti-harem toxic type girlfriends. And when he does, he tries to warn OC to stay away from the guys, but she doesn't understand why. Mainly because she's currently not interested and because the skeletons are approaching her, not the other way around.
Don't worry. OC wouldn't be a meek or shy or defenseless type despite being an Omega. She's just kinda blind to the dangers that a seasoned fan of Undertale would be familiar with. Friend would probably end up with a different character because although he read a bunch of skeleharem, he also felt more attracted to Grillby, Mettaton, and Napstablook. So he's more likely to end up with one of them if not all of them.

"Oh shit I'm sorry. I said I'm sorry!"
Buddy watched.
It was raining outside now.
Guards thought they were safe, popping back up. Buddy closed her eyes with a smirk. Panicked screams announced the crossbows being used.
"Why? What's happening? How are they shooting without flash?"
Lots of flashes at night could bring a bombing.
"Then shoot them back." Someone said firmly. "Ready. Aim. Fire."
A bunch of firing answered that.
Then the sound of a copter in the rain as they unleashed another volley of shots.
Shivers were already scattering, fleeing out the back. Buddy bolted, reaching the back door after 10 others. She ground her teeth waiting, then someone grabbed her by the shoulder. She spun and punched them in the stomach.
"Ugh--Buddy--it's me!" Ron said. "Ron from Guard! Help me!" He cried, clutching at her desperately.
