There are so few Pitt x Leverage Redemption crossovers, so here’s my contribution
okay so it starts a little something like this: Harry gets a concerning text from his twin brother Michael “Robby” Robinavitch (is that how you spell it? I think so) and so he and Breanna leave the con for the others to handle it to go to Pittsburg (they’re close by so maybe they’re in New York scamming a stockbroker on Wall Street or something). Anyway because this is Leverage and they can never do anything by halves, they get Eliot to injure them just enough that they’ll be admitted to the ED but aren’t you know actually out of commission (a few broken ribs? A broken nose? Idk I’ll figure out the specifics later). Their cover story is a bar fight (Fourth of July, man, is how they answer the question of having a bar fight at 9/10?? AM) (again I’ll figure out the specifics later, this is just brainstorming the vague plot).
Btw the reason that Harry has a Louisiana accent but Robbie doesn’t is bc they’re orphans and Robbie was taken in by their grandmother while Harry went to live with their aunt in New Orleans. They have a very awkward relationship and aren’t very close. It’s made even more awkward with Harry’s old job as an evil lawyer. Robbie does NOT know about Harry ‘switching sides’ as it were and knows nothing about Leverage and what they do. Mostly because I want to slap him in the face with ‘people change and can become better’ (which might make Robbie and Langdon’s conversation go better).
Frank nearly has a heart attack when a man who could be Robbie’s twin (is in fact Robbie’s twin but he doesn’t know that) is in Chairs. Donahue almost drops a tray of instruments when the man tells them his name is Harry Robinavitch.
Santos def gets a weird vibe between Harry and Breanna because they’re focused on Robbie and not focused on maintaining a role in a con and can’t mask the ‘we’re best friends who bonded through life-and-death danger and are also in cahoots because our entire work is yes, and-ing each other’. Plus the fact that Harry is a much older white man and Breanna is a much younger Black woman so the perceived power dynamics make it so much worse.
Anyway this all basically set up and character work up until now, but there is definitely going to be a plot, a medical emergency mixed with ‘oh shit a billionaire company is gonna buy out the hospital and drive medicine pricing up’. I’ll talk more about that in part two.
