"To think that you’d find a battlefield at this height.” Otegine looked right down the scaffolding to where he and the shorter man stood, completely unfazed at their distance from the ground below. There must be some correlation to tall people and not being afraid of heights, but it’s probably just because of his role as an umajirushi since the other guy seemed to be used to these things.
“Fighting dirt and germs and all the like, I guess.” His lips purse to a pout, wondering if he spat right now it would kill someone below. “I don’t really like doing chores, I wasn’t made for it. If it involves stabbing then I’ll probably reconsider.”
