“You probably don’t know what I’m talking about, huh? It’s basically when I’m leading a parade of sorts” Otegine stopped and his company followed the spear as well. They started surrounding his feet, trying to climb on his shoes while himself standing a bit still so that none of them wouldn’t get hurt.
“I’m not sure if that actually happened though, the raining part I mean. I’m Otegine by the way, one of the Three Great Spears of Japan.”

“Hey did you know if I lead a sakin-kotai it’ll start to rain?” Otegine quipped at the passerby with a little parade of ducklings trailing him from behind.

“I’m Otegine! One of the Three Great Spears of Japan.” It feels like a recording to him now whenever he introduces himself as that. Perhaps he needs to spice it up a little. Not now though since he needs practice plus he already cashed in the chance to introduce himself.
“Yeah That’s the thing.” Another thing that feels like a recording to him is when he explains his existence towards people, but he doesn’t really see it as a hindrance or something bad. At least he’s able to talk about himself outside of stabbing.
“We were made human by our master in order to fight for them. Our main task is to keep the flow of history on the right path. In a way, you could say that we’re time travellers.”

If there was one thing Himiko Toga loved, it was sharp blades. Knives, were her preference, but any sort of blade would do the trick to get her attention. So, a large man with a thirteen foot long spear would certain attract the teen.
“Aaaahh! Your spear, it’s so cool! Can I see it, please, oh pleeeease?”
She sounded more like a young girl cooing at a dog than a grown man with a large spear, but, Himiko hardly noticed – if she had, she wouldn’t even care. She just wanted to see that spear, to talk to the man who wielded it. How cute he was helped, too.
“Ehh. Uhh.” The spear merely gave the girl an awkward smile as he doesn’t know what to do in this situation. He can’t really just let anyone touch the spear so casually, especially anyone in this city. Their weapons are an extension of themselves after all, and there are a lot of people who would take advantage of that if they find out.
Then again, she’s just an ordinary girl who probably likes pointy things, right?
“Oh sure, let me just remove the sheath. Ah it might snow though...just kidding just kidding.”

“You’re funny.” Otegine tilted his head to the side, as if he’s trying to think.
“But you make sense.” He grinned at him, grabbing the spare wet towel on the side, he began following the other’s lead.
“Maybe we’re a special circumstance because we are weapons and discipline came with us the moment we were made human. I dunno about the last bit though.” Otegine hums, scrubbing away a layer of dust and bird poop that accumulated on the building’s windows. “My friend keeps saying that since we’re weapons, as long as we do what we’re made to do, appearance doesn’t matters.”
