Hiii, saw that you were taking requests!! How about the friends to lovers trope in modern!AU with Levi? Maybe they've known each other for a long time and they've decided to become roommates, so one night when one of them is really drunk, they confess.
I'm not really creative when it comes to things like this, so you could really change it any way you want. Thank you :)
"And They Were Roommates?!"
A/N: I’m not apologizing for that title. Also, I changed it just a little. Levi is moving out and Y/n doesn’t think time is on their side. Enjoy!
When Erwin, Hange, and a few of the scouts came over to someone’s house, you called it a party. Levi called it a cacophony. Erwin brought the drinks—usually fancy wine or other drinks that had neat labels and elegant packaging. Hange brought the food. Nothing consistent; sometimes, they’d bring bread and butter, sometimes, cheese, and other times, a deconstructed mound of something that only Erwin was brave (and stupid) enough to touch. The other scouts usually brought something edible.
Levi claimed that he hated when they came over because they caused too much noise, something would break, and someone would get too drunk. Yet, he always stayed on the couch instead of his room when they came over. He’d stifle smiles and hold his breath to not laugh at some of the things he heard.
Tonight, though, the party/cacophony was at Erwin’s house. He and Hange challenged you to a drinking contest. You only did it for fun, not really thinking you could win because Erwin was the (almost) undefeated champion at these. Levi was always the judge, despite being able to beat Erwin. The rules were simple: Levi would call out who was getting too drunk to stand—nobody could get too drunk tonight because you all had work tomorrow.
A few drinks in and you didn’t realize your body was swaying back and forth until you looked down. You stumbled a bit but pulled yourself back to the table. You felt Levi’s eyes burn into your skin. “Y/n is out,” he declared in a monotone voice, watching the other two down more drinks.
“Already?” Hange gasped, giggling a bit. Their words were a bit slurred. “I didn’t know you were such a lightweight.”
“Hange is out.”
“What?!” They exclaimed, tumbling backward.
Levi crossed his arms. “Erwin wins again. Do you want a gold star, Erwin?”
“No, no,” you mumbled, taking another shot. “I’m still in.”
Levi glared at you, then at Hange when they joined in again. “If Y/n is still, in, so am I!” They took another shot and Erwin shook his head, taking another, too.
“You’re all idiots.”
“We’re all winners,” Hange corrected.
You laughed a little as you drank more.
You weren’t sure how much time had passed, but after a few drinks, you had to sit down. Levi pulled out a chair and you stumbled into it. He frowned, looking up at Erwin and Hange, then back down at you. “We’re going home.”
“You two…” Hange snickered, pausing. “You’re like… an old married couple…”
Erwin smiled. “You are. Most people start dating before they live with each other.”
Levi glared at them, helping you up. “Shut up, both of you. I don’t want to hear it. I’m moving out in a few days, anyway.” You leaned on him as he wrapped his arm around your side for support and helped you leave the bar. It was late—probably midnight. It’s not like he would’ve been able to sleep now anyway. You wrapped your arms around his side, hugging him.
“Leviii,” you mumbled, and even though his name was slurred in your mouth, he wanted to hear it again.
“What?”
“You’re so…” you leaned against him, your eyes half-lidded. The words that came out of your mouth felt foreign and slurred, but you felt the need to say them anyway. “You’re so nice.”
“That’s a first,” he grunted as you approached your house. “I thought I was your meanest friend.”
“Dumbest, meanest friend.”
“Right, right.” You befriended him with your idiotic comebacks that he wished were a little better so he wouldn’t laugh at their poor deliveries. “You’re still my most idiotic friend.”
You pushed him playfully but ended up nearly falling over. He grabbed you by the waist and pulled you to his side again, keeping you upright. “I’m not letting you participate in one of those contests again.”
“You’re not my boss,” you groaned, sliding out of his grip again as you reached your shared house.
He snickered as you knocked on the door as if someone would answer. Then, when nobody did, you stepped back onto the cobblestone streets. You didn’t want to go back to your house. Levi’s stuff would be packed because he wasn’t going to live with you anymore. He was going to live alone, where he could drink his tea in peace and not have to deal with you and your drinking contests. Levi sighed. “Right now, I am your boss because I’m keeping you from getting concussed. C’mere.”
You stumbled back to his side as he unlocked the door and helped you in. Levi practically carried you to the couch, setting you down gently before he filled up a glass of water and gave you some toast. “Eat this. Carbs slow down alcohol absorption.”
You ate as Levi sat next to you, patting your shoulder. “Go to sleep.”
You frowned as you stared at him, reaching your hand out. Confused, he took it. “Levi,” you mumbled drunkenly. “Levi… Levi.”
“What?” He grumbled.
“Levi—I like your name. That’s… my favorite name. Leeeevviiii…” Even though you were drunk, you didn’t miss the pink that dusted his cheeks. “I think you're my favorite name… person…” You mumbled.
He tilted his head, suppressing the smile that threatened to come to his face from your drunken rambles. “Get some sleep.”
“No,” you mumbled softly, squeezing his hand. “I don’t want to.”
His eyes narrowed. “Y/n.”
Your words left your thoughts as you looked at the clock on the wall. An analog clock, because Levi preferred analog things and you preferred Levi. It taunted you, ticking as if you were running out of time. “You’re like a clock. And I’m you…”
“What?”
“The clock. Our clock.”
He followed your gaze and his brow rose. “The clock? Y/n, you’re drunk.”
“I prefer you… Your stupid symbols and your stupid hands and your stupid numbers. I prefer you.” You sniffled as tears threatened to spill. “Levi. Levi. Levi. I want to say your name. And I want you to say mine…”
“What?”
“Every day. Like, when we… wake up. I want my first words every day to be ‘Good morning, Levi.’ Y’know?” You mumbled, closing your eyes. “I wanna… own your first words every day. And I wanna give you mine…” You shuddered. “I don’t want you to move out.”
He swallowed, unsure of what to say. “Y/n, you’re drunk.”
“Maybe a drink was what I needed… Maybe I needed to get drunk… Maybe I…” You stared at him, smiling like an idiot. “Maybe I want to kiss a clock—I mean, maybe I want to kiss your name—you. You.”
Levi tucked your hair behind your ear. “I’d love that. But I’d prefer to not kiss someone who isn’t in their right mind.”
“Are you calling me crazy…? I’ll… show you crazy…” You murmured, reaching up and kissing his cheek. His face went red and you giggled like Hange when they get drunk. “You’re a tomato.”
Levi scoffed. Not the annoyed scoff he gives when you agree to Hange’s less-than-sane antics. But the scoff he gives when you deliver the punchline to a joke wrong. He patted your head and stood. “I was calling you drunk, not crazy. I’ll get you a blanket. We can talk about this tomorrow.”
“But I wanna talk about it today. The night is young…”
“But the bags under your eyes are dark. Sleep. I’ll be right here, ready to deal with your massive hangover and more love confessions in the morning.”
“I mean it… y’know? I’ll say your name first thing in the morning… Every morning…”
“Say it when you wish me goodnight,” he said, bringing you a blanket and tucking you in. He sat in the chair across from the couch with his own blanket. “Goodnight, Y/n.”
i need to practice writing fluff bc my ass always gets way too serious w it whenever i try... i can't help it... i was born for melancholic yearning...
ooo~, how about a postwar Levi and Reader fic where they live together and secretly love each other but they are afraid to confess. they don't even know how. maybe they go out on a "date" (aka just walking around town in Marley, shopping, going to the park and secretly admiring each other) andddd... I literally have no idea 😬 I'm sorry, I tried
A/N: I love this <3 It sounds so cute! I’m pretty sure that Levi spends his time with Gabi, Falco, and Onyankopon after he loses the use of his legs so I put them in here. I hope this is good enough for your request. And I'm sorry it took so long, I've had a lot of requests and not a lot of time to write them. Thanks!
Dates in Marley
You and Levi sat together, eating the breakfast that Gabi and Falco made. They were often impudent brats, as Levi described them, but you found them to be friendly enough. You jolted every time the door to your shared house opened. It was always Gabi and Falco (sometimes Onyankopon to apologize for the intrusion) and each time, you let them in. They all seemed to care about Levi just as much as you did, making him breakfast in bed and teasing him a little too much about his condition.
He pretended to hate the banter, but if they didn’t visit for a few days, he’d ask where they were.
“Levi,” Falco exclaimed, sitting with you two, “tell us again—what was the scariest abnormal titan you faced? Other than Zeke and Eren, of course.”
Levi glared at him, rolling his eyes. “I hate repeating myself.”
“Just tell us!” Gabi exclaimed.
You listened in carefully, excited to hear about his war stories whenever he was willing to tell them. When he looked at you, listening intently, he sighed in defeat. “Zeke was the worst titan I went up against. I already told you. It took three tries to kill him.”
“Okay, but what about another titan? One we don’t know?” Gabi pressed.
Levi rolled his eyes. “There was one… significantly annoying one. Rod Reiss—he was bigger than the Colossus Titan, and he only ever crawled around. He was too big and his legs were too weak. But,” he paused, glancing at you to see your excited face, “when he arrived at the Orvud District, he had rubbed off his ribs and face. His titan organs spilled out and it was disgusting.”
Falco shuddered in revulsion, sliding his plate of waffles away. “I lost my appetite…”
Gabi, on the other hand, seemed enthralled. Her eyes were wide and she grinned, nodding excitedly. “And? How’d you kill him?”
“My squad, at the time, cut off his hands. Eren shoved gunpowder barrels into his mouth and he exploded.”
Your jaw dropped. “What?!”
He nodded. “Yeah. We managed to kill him, though.”
Gabi and Falco spoke to each other excitedly, discussing the event they just learned about.
There was a knock at the door and you sprung from your seat, opening it. Onyankopon greeted you with a smile. “Good morning, Y/n. May I come in?”
“Of course! Gabi and Falco are just over there—”
“Actually, I wanted to speak with you.” He pulled you aside and Levi’s head snapped back to the two of you before looking back at the kids. Onyankopon smiled. “Levi hasn’t been outside in a while. I was hoping you could take him to the shopping district while I take Gabi and Falco out to the fair. He needs some time away from them, I think.”
You smiled, your cheeks turning pink. “I mean, I’d love to go shopping with him, but I’m afraid it’ll be awkward.”
“Why’s that?” he teased. Onyankopon knew about your feelings for Levi. You talked about him far too much and when Onyankopon asked, you told him how you felt. “I’m kidding,” he said, nudging you as your face turned red, “just take Levi out. Maybe he feels the same.”
You scoffed. “I doubt it…”
“Go.”
When you turned around, Levi was staring at you from the table. He quickly looked away and gave his plate to Falco so he’d wash it. You sighed, approaching Levi. “Hey, let’s go shopping.”
“What?”
“You haven’t been outside in forever. C’mon, it’ll be fun.”
With little protest, he rolled his chair to you. You grabbed the handles to the back of it and started pushing him out the door. “What are we shopping for?” He asked, looking up at you.
“Whatever we want.” He grunted, squinting as you left the house. The sun shone down on you and you stared up at the fluffy clouds against the blue sky. You smiled. “See, Levi? It’s a beautiful day out. We’ll have fun.”
“Right.”
You grinned and sped up, hurrying to the market. A big fountain made of marble leaked water out of the top. Shopping stands were everywhere and you couldn’t help but inhale the smell of lobster. “So, what do you want to do first? Clothes shopping? Food?”
He sighed. “Let’s go look at the clothes, I guess.” You rolled him to a stand with dresses, suits, and other fancy clothes. You didn’t miss the smile that appeared on his face when you picked up an elegant-looking piece of clothing and held it to your body.
“How do I look?”
Levi cleared his throat, looking away. “Good. You look,” he paused, his eyes flickering to you. “You look really good.”
Your face turned red and you put it back on the hanger. “Do you see any clothes you like?”
He thought for a moment. “If they have a suit that matches that.” He replied, pointing to the article of clothing you had. “I like the colors…” he mumbled, but the pink on his cheeks didn’t lie.
You smiled and found a suit that matched the colors of the clothes you found. Levi gave you a brief nod, biting back a smile as you grinned and bought the clothes. He shoved some money in your pocket and you pretended not to notice. You had to or else he’d insist on paying you.
Next, you saw a stand offering ice cream. “Do you want some ice cream?”
“God, no. It’s so cold… Food is meant to be hot.”
“Alright,” you mumbled, chuckling at his pickiness. “Oh!” You pointed at a small shop with a teacup out front. “It looks like they sell tea. Do you want to go there?”
He looked up at you. “You realize tea isn’t the only thing I like, right? I have hobbies. I have things I could be doing.”
“But you like tea, so we’re going to the tea shop,” you chirped, rolling him inside. He groaned and rolled his eyes, but you didn’t miss the way they lit up when all of the different aromas flooded his senses. He looked around, trying not to make it obvious that he found the shop fascinating. “Oh, they have samples—” He rolled his chair away before you could finish speaking and tried a cup of Marleyan tea.
You followed him with a smile. “Do you like it?”
Levi looked up at you. “It’s… alright. Black tea is better.” His eyes lingered on some teacups and you followed his gaze.
“Do you want those?”
“No.” He’s a poor liar. You smiled softly as his head turned but his eyes stayed on the cups. You picked up two.
“Well, I want them.” You paid for the cups and they were wrapped and placed delicately in a box, then a bag. You smiled and handed them to Levi. His cheeks were tinted pink as he pulled a cup out and examined it. You tilted your head. “Is there a reason why you like fancy teacups so much?”
He hesitated as his hand traced over the simple design. “When I was growing up, we didn’t have teacups.”
“You’re that old?” You teased.
“No!” He snapped. “I had poor living conditions. But when I finally got my hands on a real teacup, I couldn’t believe it. So, I held it,” he picked up the cup in the strange way he always did, struggling a bit with his missing fingers, “and drank from it like that.”
You smiled and rested your chin on his head, looking down at the cup in his lap. “Then I’ll find more fancy teacups for you.”
His smile grew a little. This time, he didn’t suppress it.
“Where to next?” You asked as you left the shop.
He was staring past the market, at a park with a few small benches that looked out at the sea. You grinned and took him there, sitting with him. Seagulls squawked over you two as you sat in comfortable silence, holding the empty cups and watching the waves crash.
“You were right,” Levi murmured. You tilted your head and looked at him. His silver eyes reflected the sun so perfectly—you could stare at them all day. “It was fun.”
You grinned and nudged him. “See? I told you, Marley can be fun.”
“It wasn’t Marley that was fun,” he muttered, clenching his fist. “It was you. You were fun. You took me clothes shopping and to a stupid tea shop and to this stupid, amazing park.” He returned your gaze. “And here I am, with stupid, amazing you.”
You couldn’t fight the blush that came to your face as you tried to respond, but nothing came out. Levi looked out at the sea again. “It’s pretty—the sea.”
“Isn’t it?” You replied, still processing his compliment(?) from his last statement.
His hand rested over yours. “I want to look at the sea with you more often.”
“Me too,” you murmured, scooting closer.
“The sea looks prettier when you’re here,” he said, turning to you with pink cheeks. “Y/n, I want to come here every day with you.”
Your eyes widened. “What?”
“I like,” he paused, trying to get the words out. “I love you. And I know I don’t show it and I know I roll my eyes and I’m rude, but I—”
You cut him off by pressing your lips against his gently. It only lasted for a moment, but God, he could have sworn he saw his entire life flash before his eyes, every moment leading up to you.
And from the distance, you were fairly sure you heard two kids exclaiming and laughing when you kissed, along with a too-polite man trying to calm them down.
I got you ! (Maybe another platonic/romantic request bc i realised im a sucker for those)

Homemade Tea - Levi Ackerman x Reader
Your family ran a tea shop in Trost. The day it was destroyed, you thought all hope for your family’s business was, too, but you were hard workers. Even for something as delicate and seemingly purposeless as tea, your family worked to recreate every recipe down to the last measurement.
When you graduated from the Training Corps, your parents surprised you with several bags of your own tea so you could “take a little bit of home” with you. Little did you know, you needed home more than anything.
You woke up with a sigh, climbing out of bed treacherously. Your thighs ached and your arms were strained—putting a shirt on had never been a difficult task, but the Scouts seem to have the ability to make everything difficult. You hissed in pain as you pulled the rest of your clothes on, walking down to the mess hall. It was still a bit dark out, so you decided to take some tea with you. At least Connie and Sasha and Jean wouldn’t beg you for a taste.
A kettle was already over the fire and Captain Levi sat at a table by himself, glaring at you when you appeared.
“Why are you up so early, cadet?” He questioned. He wasn’t even in uniform yet—God. It wasn’t anything magnificent; at least, it usually wouldn’t be. But somehow, the captain could wear a sweater and read a book and you were head over heels. Your stomach twisted as you took another step towards the kettle.
You stood up a little straighter upon seeing him. “I was just going to make some tea.”
His brows tented. “You’re not using mine. Erwin paid for that.”
“I have my own.”
Levi’s brow rose and he placed a black, leather bookmark in his book. “How do you have your own?” His tired eyes stared at you, then at the bag you showed him,
“It’s my family’s.”
Levi stood as the kettle whistled softly and took it off of the fire. He opened a cabinet and took a cup out, then searched for something else. He sighed in defeat, looking back at you. “What kind of tea is that?”
“It’s my family’s recipe; it’s original.”
He frowned and his brows rose in disappointment. “Does it have a name?”
You thought for a moment, a smile tugging at your lips.“Home.”
He sighed and found an infuser, then handed it to you. “Put some in.”
You tilted your head. “Did you run out of tea?” You grinned sleepily as your brow rose smugly.
“Just do it, brat.”
The sun shone through the trees softly, providing a golden glow to the mess hall. You placed the infuser in the kettle, then turned to Levi. The sun made his baggy, silver eyes shine a little brighter. As you admired his eyes, he found himself trying not to look at you. It was rare for a cadet to get up this early, but that wasn’t what made him antsy. No—what made him question your presence was your tranquility.
Normally, when the cadets came down to the mess hall for breakfast, he’d sigh and go back to his room because of their ruckus. But you looked at him with matching tired eyes and a bag of herbs for your tea in your hands.
Unusual, he thought, but once he smelled the tea, his heart melted a bit. The cinnamon made his mouth water and the lavender added to the comfortable silence you shared.
He cleared his throat. “It smells good. You called it home, right?”
“Yes, but it doesn’t really have a name.”
“Does it smell like home right now?”
Your entire demeanor softened. “A little.”
His eyes flickered at you before he stared out the window. You took the kettle off of the fire as he placed two cups out in front of you. You poured an even amount in both before placing the kettle on the counter.
Levi delicately lifted his cup by the rims with his slender fingers, bringing it to his lips. You picked up your cup, too, and drank from it, relishing the taste of your family’s tea. It was warm and it felt like pure comfort and joy seeped into your tastebuds and warmed your body. When you placed your cup down, you noticed the captain staring at you, as if he was studying you.
He looked away and cleared his throat. “The tea—it’s good.”
You nodded. “Thank you; my family—”
“Can you make more for me tomorrow?”
You tilted your head as a soft smile tugged at your lips. “You like it that much?”
He struggled to maintain eye contact as he nodded. “I like it,” he replied stiffly. “It tastes good. It tastes like,” he paused, his brows tented as he searched for a word he couldn’t place. “It tastes like home.”
You nodded. “Good. That’s what it is to me.”
Levi sat at his table, sliding his book out of the way as he stared at you expectantly. “Sit,” he mumbled, not as an order, but as an invitation.
You sat across from him, your thighs hurting as you lowered yourself onto a chair. “What are we doing for training today?”
His brows furrowed. “Are you sore from training yesterday? All we did was ODM training.”
You sighed. “Yeah. Connie and Jean sort of tempted me into racing them through the forest.”
He nodded and his brows rose. “So that’s where you went after training.” He wanted to speak to you but couldn’t find you anywhere in the barracks. When he noticed that Connie and Jean were gone, too, he knew you were probably fine. “Hange was worried about you.”
You mean you were worried about me? You thought to yourself. Hange was experimenting on their titans all night.
“Oh, really?” You responded. “Huh. I wonder why.” You stood, wincing in pain. “I guess I should go check in with them…”
He grabbed your hand quickly. “No!” He exclaimed, his eyes wide. He blinked and his face softened again. “No. I meant to say that I was.” He paused, staring up at you. “I was worried about you.”
You smirked. “Why?”
“Don’t worry about that right now. It’s too early for any of that,” he mumbled softly. “Just drink your tea.”
You two continued to drink tea until the rest of the scouts filled up the mess hall. Every day after that, though, you filled up his teacup with your family’s tea.
