Personality and Background:
Levi was born into a wealthy family in Nocturne Town. From childhood his vocation seems clear: he loves science with all his heart, he is curious and loving towards his neighbor, he seems the perfect ideal of a future doctor, one of those doctors who love his profession and his patients. His parents, both professors and people of culture, are very proud of their son. Still, things are never perfect.
Neither he nor the family nor ever talk about the first time the other Levi was born, yet a terrible chaos occurred that day. The boy had not yet entered adolescence and the one inside him was capable of disconcerting things. Despite this, Levi seemed not to be frightened by this and indeed, over time he learned to control it.
It is not clear who Inner Levi is (as he calls him), if he is really a separate entity or if he is a second personality of Levi, in any case, although he rarely manifests himself, when this happens also Levi’s physical characteristics change: he is slightly shorter than normal, his face takes on more childish features and becomes more expressive.
Levi, in his normal state, is a mature and kind-hearted person. He dedicates his passion to others and tries to support anyone whenever he can. He is a person with whom it is pleasant to spend time in company, he is open to new experiences and all new acquaintances. He could get carried away a little too much in talking about medicine, if it happens just point it out to him. He might be arrogant at times when it comes to medical arts and chemistry, but he doesn’t do it intentionally. In general, he is a reliable and quiet person who can be trusted.
His relationship with Inner Levi is in truth not a relationship. He sees him as a kid, a problem that existed when he was younger but is now easy to deal with through medicine. Even if he convinces himself of this, this is not always the case. When he manifests, Inner Levi has a deeply immature, disquieting personality. He is not necessarily bad, but he has no moral criteria, and he does what he likes when he likes, making himself capable of friendly gestures as well as extreme cruelty. He’s dangerous, believe me. If Levi is a self-controlled and self-possessed person, Inner Levi is a slave to his emotions to such an extent that even Ciaran is scared of him (and that Ciaran is scared is indicative…). This Levi also appears to be more childish than his counterpart whom he rather scornfully calls “big brother”.

Basically Levi can “take in” another person for a limited period of time, usually not reaching the minute. In this sense, he has access to all the physical, intellectual and magical abilities of the person, and in the same way the person themselves can possess the body of Levi, as long as he allows it. The difference between the two personalities is that Levi uses the spell mostly for defense, while Inner Levi thinks more about a methodology of attack and exploitation of the person.
