Levi’s Gran Fondo Recap

Throughout Levi Leipheimer’s professional racing career he brought a spotlight onto Santa Rosa, California. When his racing slowed down for the year he chose to invite the world to his home town to sample some of the best road riding you’ll ever touch. Though he is no longer a professional racer he still wants to show off how amazing the riding in Sonoma County is.

In it’s 11th year the word has gotten out about how amazing Levi’s Gran Fondo is. Riders come from all over the world to test their fitness on one of the most demanding Gran Fondos. With so many riders traveling is to ride, BikeFlights.com has been removing the hassle of traveling with your bike for these traveling riders.

Touting routes for the family up to seasoned veterans the race has options from a 9 miles to 110 miles with 10,000+ feet of climbing.

Though it started off chilly, it quickly warmed up and riders got to enjoy what California is all about.

Definitely the best weekend thanks to this awesome bunch!! Starting from family style dinner with long chat, cycling through the hills and coast in Santa Rosa, evening playing game cards, building train tracks, enjoying star party at the state park, listening to lectures on nebula, looking at Milky Way and Saturn, that was epic!!
