That one scene on the seraphites island:
Abby: meets Yara and Lev
Abby: Bitch, I’m a mother 🤺
Look how happy she is with Alice and Lev :)
Everyone has different theories about why Ellie let Abby live but I personally like the theory that Ellie didn’t kill Abby because of Lev. I feel like Abby and Lev reminded Ellie of Joel and her when they first met and when Ellie had that flashback of Joel, I feel like she was remembering how painful it was to lose him and as much as she hated Abby, she didn’t want Lev to go through that. She probably knew that if she did kill Abby and Lev somehow managed to survive that he would go after her too but that could easily be solved by killing both, right? I don’t think Ellie would’ve killed Lev because he stopped Abby from killing Dina back in the theater. As merciless Ellie turned out to be in tlou2, I don’t think she could’ve killed someone that saved her girlfriend and son.
Hot take but is anyone else genuinely pissed off about Lev's actor for TLOU show? Like, I understand she's a good actor but they could've kept to the storyline by picking a trans masc actor. There are many trans masc actors in the world, like Ian Alexander. Even if they are 24, they have a young, teen-like facial structure and are honestly pretty similar to lev. I understand that it's an adaptation to the games, but they could've picked someone with the same struggles with gender identity as lev had. I have no hate for the actor, but I feel she could be a better yara than Lev. Just my opinion, don't take it seriously.
Edit!! After a deep search, I found that Ian Alexander was also Lev in the game, which (in my opinion) makes my statement more strong.
