I suddenly got reminded of a character(s) I made back in freshman year of highschool (2006)
I guess technically theyre two different characters but theyre pretty much always together so I usually just list them as a single entity.
Leway is a magic mirror that can exists in various places across the merriway and can immediately transport you to any of its locations in an instant, for a price though. Hock is the critter coiled around Leway and its guardian that keeps the mirror from harm.
This is not a final rendition for these two but I thought I’d jot down a thought.
As for a backstory I imagine Leway originally was just a mirror that was enchanted so that its masters could use it to illegally move to where they needed to go. But as most magic goes Leway kinda took on a personality of its own and began to dislike the idea of folks going in and out of it without permission and eventually demanded payment. Its refusal to be of service made its masters abandon it and its sat unused for what could be centuries. Hock was a monster put in charge of defending Leway but even when the mirror turned on its masters Hock remained loyal to its charge.
